The Law of Time makes conscious what was unconscious.
Herein lies a clue to the deeper reason for the 13 Moon Calendar’s existence: as a tool for transformation. To shine light upon the darkness for the evolution of humanity and regeneration of the Earth.
To change the world, humans must think new thoughts, and re-examine core beliefs. The deeper the examination, the more meaningful the shifts in consciousness and behavior. And then: a changed world.
The Law of Time and 13 Moon Calendar confront us with the notion that Time is not linear, nor duration. Revisiting something so fundamental penetrates the psyche’s bedrock of conditioned assumptions. This disruption then ripples outward, or rather: inward.
The act scrutinizing our own limiting ideas generates a kind of mental momentum. Soon we may discover thoughts which aren’t even our own lurking around in our mind. Such thoughts are often entrenched and take up huge swathes of mental real estate.
After all, we inherit so much from our culture, but from what roots do each assumption stem? Who said a specific way of doing things is the right way? What reasons did they have? Such answers are lost in the Ocean of Time. Yet, the thoughts whose origins are unknown are often the ones we cling to the most! “I better keep this belief, just in case it’s right.” “I better continue doing this tradition, just in case it actually is important even though I’m not sure why it is to me.” “I better not breach [insert any superstition here] just in case I offend my community.”
The deliberate questioning of our assumptions is the mainstay of human maturation. It’s healthy to question our assumptions or beliefs. Not only to drop (or reformulate) those which no longer serve yourself (or others). But to also remind or reaffirm your reasons for staying true to those that do.
But making conscious the unconscious can be a double-edged sword. Once you start, it is like un-damming a river. Or like cleaning up a cluttered closet! Every item removed or re-sorted reveals yet another dusty artifact. But you can be certain that beneath all the junk there is the closet in its original, pristine form!
Sometimes this can be a very uncomfortable process. After all, ignorance is only bliss in a state of ignorance. Once ignorance goes bye-bye, a change must come next. As we cast away the shadows with the light of our self-inquiry, we face an imperative. The imperative to do something about what’s revealed. And the longer we wait, the more unconscious-dust will settle, obscuring our discovery. (And the less comfortable we’ll feel in our skin!)
As difficult as it may be, such examining might be the only way to end the cycle of the “terror of profane history.” (Book of the Throne, Cosmic History Chronicles Volume I).
The codes of the 13 Moon Calendar provide a daily template for thinking new thoughts. It’s one tool you can use to transcend the arbitrary and divisive thought-forms of history. Deepen your study of it with my course or through self-study, and make note of any shifts in consciousness you experience. (And then, where possible, change and grow as needed.)
Have you noticed any new perspectives on birth? Spirit? Intuition? Awareness? Instinct? Death? Healing? Art? Flow? Love? Magic? Free Will? Space? Timelessness? Vision? Intelligence? Evolution? Reflection? Self-generation? Life?
How about purpose? Challenge? Service? Form? Empowerment? Balance? Resonance? Integrity? Intention? Manifestation? Liberation? Cooperation? Presence?
And what about the interaction and relationship, in Time, of all those things with one another?
Make conscious the unconscious at a deeper level, and fearlessly shine your light upon the Earth!
