Dated: Solar Moon 26, Kin 53: Red Magnetic Skywalker (1 April 2018)
The 13 Moon Calendar is a master synchronization matrix, making conscious the ever-existing web of synchronicity permeating the universe.
When I started this newsletter and decided to send an article out on the magnetic tone of every wavespell I had no idea I was putting in an order for such a scrumptious synchronicity sandwich as the one before me now!
As you know today is April Fool’s day. Today is also Easter Sunday. On the 13 Moon Calendar today is Kin 53, Red Magnetic Skywalker. Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients of this synchronicity sandwich…
Kin 53, Red Magnetic Skywalker (1 Skywalker) corresponds to the day “1 Reed” in the Aztec calendar, and was the day that the cultural prophet Quetzalcoatl both “departed upon a raft of thirteen serpents” and the day he said he would return. So today is kind of like a resurrection of Quetzalcoatl, who was arguably a “Christ-like” figure in Mesoamerican culture. “1 Reed” is also the day that Quetzalcoatl prophesied an entrance into a 1,144-year cycle known as the “9 Hells”…
Easter Sunday the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, always occurs on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon following or during the vernal equinox.
But let’s look a little closer at April Fool’s Day: While its origins are unclear, the primary legend is this: Before the implementation of the Gregorian calendar in 1582, the “new year” was observed on March 25. (?? I know, I don’t get it either!) Anyway, there were no celebrations for the new year at this time, since March 25 always fell during the Christian observance of “Holy Week” (including Easter) and so New Year’s celebrations began on April 1. But after the Gregorian calendar was implemented, it was decided that January 1 would be New Year’s Day.
(Note: Some sources claim this legend is not the true origin, and that this season of pranking, hoaxing and practical joking had being going on for well before the 1500’s.)
It is interesting to step back and recognize that the practice of celebrating a new year on March 25 goes back to at least around four thousand years ago (appx. 2000 B.C.), when the Mesopotamian people would celebrate the new year at the time of the vernal equinox. This is just one example of a culture who celebrated the cycles of nature in such a way, and surely there are other cultures whose history of such practices goes back even further than this.
In the case of ancient Mesopotamia, the celebration of the vernal equinox is an example of their cultural worship of the forces of nature. Practices like this were later deemed as paganistic by Christians, and often eschewed or even condemned. Which is also a little odd, being that Easter itself is calculated based upon the equinox.
I can’t help but wonder if April Fool’s day in some way was a jab at the people who still wished to continue observing their nature-based worship. Conjecture? Absolutely. But then again history is just filled to the brim with one religion ridiculing or oppressing another. The spread of the Gregorian calendar through the Doctrine of Discovery is a perfect example of this kind of oppression.
Indeed, it was the arrival of Hernan Cortes, on the day “1 Reed” in the Aztec Calendar which fulfilled Quetzalcoatl’s prophecy of entrance into the cycle of “9 Hells”. This cycle concluded in 1987 – commemorated by the Harmonic Convergence: the world’s first globally synchronized meditation for peace.
What a fascinating synchronic sandwich we have today, wouldn’t you agree? On the one hand, the Gregorian calendar is dialed in to April Fool’s day, whose origins lie in cultural observances of the natural cycles; and Easter Sunday, commemorating Christ’s resurrection, itself anchored to the vernal equinox. On the other hand the 13 Moon Calendar reveals today is also Kin 53, that same “1 Reed” sign of Quetzalcoatl and his return, so intimately connected to the tragic history of the settling of the Americas and subjugation of its people, conducted (bizarrely) in the name of Christ.
There sure is a lot of history to heal and bring to light. Decoding history, world events, and even our lives through the lens of the 13 Moon Calendar reveals the luminous grid of the synchronic order, the archetypal heartbeat underneath it all.
