Mystery and Meaning

November 7, 2019 by jacob

I overheard a conversation between Mystery and Meaning

Said Mystery, “You’ll see”
“I know,” replied Meaning

Said Mystery, “But even so dear friend,
For all you know
All you do not multiplies”

“Of course you are right
My beloved companion,” said Meaning
“And it all leads to something new to know
And one in the same
Is my coming into being
As my seeking your embrace”

“Dear one,” replies Mystery
“My vastness is complete
Though completed only through you
The reason Meaning is Mystery
Is because Mystery is Meaning”

The yin and the yang
Intertwined as one
Not only light and dark
Goodness and evil
Masculine and feminine

We, Mystery and Meaning,
Are of the most primal dual bonds
Bringing All into Being

Our children, Sex and Death
Yet another true polarity
The creation of
And cessation of
Life

The Cube known
The Three Planes in tune

Deep within me a figure toils in the dark
He is preparing a brew
From inside the folding, twisted knots
Of heart flesh
The brain sings like a sun to the medicine man
Fain would clouds scatter the melody
The sun sets and the moon rises
A clear night
A pure light
To the medicine man brings instruction
The bitter elixir of new realization
Steeped to the marrow

A fire burns below the cauldron
The information of light and heat
The language of blinding burning
Infusing
The sweet elixir of bitter wisdom
Cures the heart’s flesh to eternal harmony

Throbbing and beating
Coaxing out now through the sparkling blaze
Layers upon layers
Of the future unfolding
The present moment
The present life
Aches for its eternity
Pines for You in all Your Glory

Your creations
So delicate yet fierce
Terrible and beautiful
Registrations of Your Power Absolute

To reach deep within
The medicine man calls
“Drink of each other
Know the union of all souls
Through communion with each one”
We are but vibration, energy
Moving
Growing
Fading
Still

Arising
Awakening
Pulsing
Turning
Orbiting
Dancing
We touch hands
And know the other
Is yet one in the same
As the One You

My master I crave your gentle touch
Your firm guiding hands
The loving embrace of endless time

Mountains shift within me
Cracking to bedrock
Granite falling
Thundering, crashing
Set free to fly now
You wingless bird

The mystery an eternal
Mineshaft
Rarest gems and minerals
Signposts on the way
In and in
On and on

Transmission echo chamber

September 29, 2019 by jacob

Echoing to itself
Until it awakes
You are me
I am you
Who are you?
We are you
You are us
Until it remembers
Do you see?
Can you believe it?
Could it really be?
You couldn’t possibly be
Me
Could I really be
You?

What’s outside is inside, though the language it speaks may appear foreign. The noosphere is inevitable. It speaks to you through codes shapes sounds colors faces words fears love, reformulated, recombinated, repermutated versions of yourself all echoing back to you from you, to me from me too and to everyone from everyone you know.

Each eternal soul registered as its own noosphere unto itself, a holographic fractal of the Absolute noosphere. Recognize you in the other in the other in you.

The transmission echo chamber, flirting on the razor’s edge of an endless technological hell. Using its tools to further expand and exponentialize its ways, means and outcomes. The sleeping dream multiplies it all until the waking dream liberates us all, liberates us One.

Fires inside the mountain. Pains, cravings, heat, sensation, chills, butterflies, flowers in your heart. Self-reflective consciousness.

The transmission echo chamber. Flickering lights draw us to them. A memory of the star mother, the womb, the original placenta, suckling upon dreams of infinite future experiences in endless universes.

Words beyond words. Shapes beyond shape. Sounds beyond sound. The brain in your skull, opening to its light, needs a safe place, needs a safe planet – yes you too dear one. And you, and yes the one you hate as well: One.

We await we in the future Zero beyond the fathomable.

Whole systems thinking

September 16, 2019 by jacob

In today’s world of social media frenzied communication, our culture has become the epitome of the hyperpropagated rumor fallacy.

Think of how many times you’ve seen some post or meme on social media, claiming some quick factoids, only to later find out the information was either completely wrong or so woefully divorced from its context as to be anything but true.

It is the latter of these two I’d like to focus on, because this dangerous tendency threatens to gradually decay our collective abilities to critically think in a whole systems manner. Political agendas, opinion agendas, click-bait agendas fuel the propagation of such “information” at a fever pace. After all, clicks, likes, shares means profits now – who cares if what is being shared is completely misleading?

Hearsay is a plague in any time. But in our time, hearsay is a thousand times a minute, a million times a day. Best case scenario: Such communiques are either completely ignored or thoroughly scrutinized by those receiving it (the minority). Worse case scenario: The information is shared without a second thought, validating the false foundations of a completely misguided, misinformed, incorrect and just plain deluded worldview.

Whole systems thinking is so badly needed in our time. The fact of our interconnectivity is right in our face. (It’s one of my favorite topics to rant about). We now have a vast artificial infrastructure virtually connecting everyone. But even more to the point, growing numbers of people are experiencing growing empathy, sensitive to all the dramas and dreams, perturbations, tectonic shifts and other such oscillations constantly pulsing on the surface of our dear planet.

Law of Time/13 Moon Calendar lingo would call such people noospheric chips (See Time and the Technosphere by Jose Arguelles): Millions of pin-points of consciousness, aware of and in touch with the planetary nature of human existence and consciousness. Planetary and beyond!

So my friend even if you don’t identify as a noospheric chip, with the internet there’s no getting away from your awareness of and interconnectedness with the whole planet (at least, not without coming down with a spell of cognitive dissonance).

Before learning to walk we must crawl. So, before behaving as a fully coherent and intelligent planetary consciousness, we must learn to think and feel in terms of whole systems. The 13 Moon Calendar is a tool you can use every day to cultivate and strengthen whole systems thinking.

How? First of all the 13 Moon Calendar is in and of itself a whole system. It is fractally consistent, self-referential and mathematically coherent – just as is any whole system. All systems in nature are a balanced equation. Only the human being, operating in an artificial timing frequency, can and has disturbed this balance – physically, geologically, emotionally – ok let’s face it: In every way possible we have disturbed balance! But not to fear. Every little thing is going to be alright because we are now learning to crawl – to think in terms of whole systems.

When you know your galactic signature you are instantaneously introduced into a matrix of synchronicity wherein all other signatures have a specific point of relationship to your signature. Then as the days go by each galactic signature is found within a larger whole: a 4-day cycle, 5-day cycle, 7-day cycle, 13-day cycle, 20-day cycle, 28-day cycle, 52-day cycle, 65-day cycle, 73-day cycle, 130-day cycle, 260-day cycle, 365-day, 520-day cycle, a 2080-unit psi bank – and on, and on, and on.

When you are following the 13 Moon Calendar there is an ongoing and moving context of time which sweeps you along while continuously increasing your sensitivity to the greater whole of the ocean upon which you are apparently surfing, but deep, deep within which you truly reside.

Deep in the heart of its depths, you feel the whole ocean. Cultivating this sensitivity and tendency to think and feel in terms of whole systems will not only make us better planetary citizens but ultimately accelerate the journey along our many unique paths toward the highest, most wonderful dream.

We vibrate each other

September 3, 2019 by jacob

We are all moving, resonant vibrations. Sounds, tones, seeking resolution and harmony. The next octave, the ideal key change in the symphony of our unfoldment.

Flowery words notwithstanding, much more than your body you are a registration of your soul’s original template. Incarnate now, incarnate here for a reason. The energy you carry can bring healing and be healed, through authentic resonance with each and any soul.

“In Lak’ech” – the Mayan greeting roughly meaning “I am another you” is more than a greeting. To me, living “In Lak’ech” means accepting the holographic nature of reality. The part is in the whole, the whole is in the part. What you perceive outside is a reflection of the inside. What you realize within echoes outward.

In the 13 Moon Calendar every person has a galactic signature. And since every galactic signature is included in the harmonic index of all signatures, each signature has a specific interval between it and every other signature. This is the fundamental basis of all the signatures’ interconnectedness, both to each other and to the holographic matrix foundation of multidimensionality.

And since each day has a signature as well, we experience the codes as both container and contained, the context and the subject – day by day, heptad by heptad, wavespell by wavespell, moon by moon, season by season, spin by spin, year by year.

Through consistent daily use of the 13 Moon Calendar, a tool for cultivation of cosmic perceptions, we can begin to experience the holographic nature of reality. When in a state of continuing consciousness, everything you perceive and experience becomes a communion and communication between your internal journey and the external world.

And in particular, human relationships become, or can become, something much more than most imagine.

For example, sometimes we have an exchange or encounter with someone and we are left with a strong feeling inside. No need to name it, except perhaps as a sensation. Typical and frankly unuseful lexicon might call it a pit in the stomach, or butterflies, or a broken heart. But there is much more to it.

You’ll know these feelings by the complex, multilayered nature – more rich than what we call basic emotions. These feelings are almost impossible to articulate in words in the typical sense of “sharing your feelings”.

Look again at the sensations you receive, impressions from your communion with another soul, “another you”. Some we encounter will shine a light deep within us. Turning to the sensation with fearless curiosity we can come into contact with some of our deeper subconscious drivers and perhaps transfigure our inner demons into a muse of self-knowledge.

Maintaining equanimity, observing and probing these bundles of sensation ultimately sparks transformation and new creation. Sensation is a source of creation, but when we name these deep sensations with a single word, we risk losing the opportunity to unravel them to their core.

When something plucks your heart strings, there is something inside wishing to sing. When the butterflies fill your stomach, it is something inside of you ready to fly free.

Our world is filled with distractions. And recently I got the palpable sense of how what we now call entertainment can almost yank you right out of very deep states of introspection. Their (typically) sensational, indulgent or decadent emotional sequences can drown out or effectively replace your internal exploration of the feelings (and revelation of the treasures) within you.

Bundles of feelings are like stars coming into being, but they require the vacuum of your open present awareness – they need space – to grow.

The treasure box can be opened by yourself. Though sometimes a feeling may strongly seem to be a kind of circuit between you and another you. If there’s receptivity, trust and curiosity and a willingness to think new thoughts – you just might see a new facet of how one another are reflections of the One Soul.

I wonder if this might be a facet of what the Law of Time refers to as galactic culture. Imagine the planet filled with absolute trust – such treasures, magic and beauty we would create through our mutually inspired self-reflection.

Mexico

August 21, 2019 by jacob

For the end of the Red Cosmic Moon Year and entrance to the White Magnetic Wizard Year I had the rare blessing to participate in three events organized by the Foundation for the Law of Time.

First was Anchoring the New Beam in Palenque: A Call for the People of OMA, from Cosmic Moon 24-27, Kin 8-Kin 11. This was followed by the Day Out of Time, Kin 13 at Teotihuacan and concluding the journey on Kin 14, White Magnetic Wizard, Magnetic Moon 1 was Encoding the Galactic Future and Steering the Timeship.

All told these three events comprised 7 days of profound transformation. I am grateful I entered into all of these events with an empty cup and no expectations, especially for the four days in Palenque…

In Palenque, our group of more than 150 people from more than 40 countries participated in what I would call a collective plunge into the inner realms. Stephanie South/Red Queen, host of the event, would share each day on various topics. Each sharing would touch and awaken a different facet of the most fundamental root issues of basically being a human, living in this world, at this time, and remembering once again our interconnected multidimensionality.

This is obviously a radical abbreviation for purposes of brevity. But the bottom line is every participant, I perceived, and certainly myself, entered a type of power-and-love-laced chrysalis state of inner transformation. Words fail to encompass the subtle magic of so many, frankly, highly intelligent, evolved and loving people all participating in this process together.

Leaving this event from Palenque, most of the participants boarded a jet from Palenque to Mexico City, where indeed we almost filled the entire plane! It was truly a magical mystery tour, complete with the co-pilot named Arguelles!

The next keystone of this journey was the Day Out of Time peace through culture celebration in Teotihuacan. This day was also my son Aidan’s completion of eight 260-kin galactic spins (2080 days). The ceremonial magic of this day was saturated with the same holy spirit of unification and trust which characterized the foregoing Palenque event.

The next day rang in the new Solar Ring of the White Magnetic Wizard with force! I had the privilege and unforgettable joy of emceeing the event on this day, of holding space and order so that the exquisite speakers from all over the world could transmit their rarified frequencies to the collective noosphere. Encoding the Galactic Future and Steering the Timeship was nothing less than a ground-breaking manifesto, sounding clear the evolution, knowledge, intelligence, wisdom and heart of a truly conscious noosphere coming into being.

To read more about the event check out Stephanie South’s blog Shifting Timelines: Returning to the Heart of Time.

For me personally, these 7 days acted like a noospheric acupuncture needle deep into the recesses of my heart. I could feel a strong sensation, energy, rising up from the dan tien, the sacral center – like a tectonic allowing a kind of spirit magma to begin working its way up to my heart.

I could feel the resistance the magma encountered deep inside me, like layers of karma crumbling and dissolving. And as the days went by the energy worked its way further and further up, opening into my heart.

A result of all this, I realize now yet still reflect to understand it even more deeply, was like the unearthing of a crackling electric presence in me, a vibration, a sensation, which I even now can feel. In the days since the event I have been very preoccupied with this feeling deep in my core and have worked to unravel its mystery.

I believe it could be simply called inspiration, but it also comes with a perception or articulation of the vast potential of every human to create something new and heal themselves through paying attention to, questioning and honoring the messages that make up the deepest truth core of the living feelings within them. I’ll never think of time is art the same again.

The 13 Moon Calendar is a tool for transformation, both personal and collective. Learning to use it as such involves both knowing the nuts and bolts, and self-reflection upon your own inner journey with it.

So in the next few articles I send you, I’ll aim to share with you what I can of my inner journey. In some ways this may get personal, but perhaps it will offer you some company on your own journey as well. And if we are all the noosphere, one mind, the Earth’s mind then I will share this in the spirit of noospheric communion.

Heal yourself

February 20, 2019 by jacob

The brain, the human body, life in general has an amazing way of healing itself. Rewiring, endlessly resilient – no matter the obstacle, life, the human body, the brain finds its way back. Just as a stroke-survived brain can rewire itself around the damage, or the brain of a person diagnosed with Parkinson’s can rewire itself even as their condition progresses – so, too, can we heal ourselves as a collective planetary being.

Indeed we are the brain of the Earth, the noosphere itself – albeit mostly unconscious at present. The collective cognitive dissonance seems to reach a higher and higher fever pitch every day. What is real? What is true? What can we stand upon with certainty? How do we fulfill ourselves in this life, realizing the best version of ourselves? Is it possible to do what we know is right? What example shall we set for our children? Even from within a system or society which seems to thrive by gripping its roots upon a density of suffering, confusion, division – the bedrock of history stuck in a rut.

As the next stage in the evolution of human consciousness (Jose Arguelles, Manifesto for the Noosphere), the noosphere is a multidimensional system.

The 13 Moon Calendar and codes of the Law of Time are a fundamentally healing treatment for the sickness of artificial time hypnosis. A treatment does not work if it is not applied. The codes and matrix of sychronicity from which the 13 Moon Calendar arises exist first in the higher dimensions and condense, precipitate “downward” into the physical plane reality (the third dimension, form).

Hence, a purpose of utilizing the 13 Moon Calendar is to rewire our own brains, and ultimately the brain of the Earth, the noosphere, to be renewed to its fullness and out of the state of artificial time hypnosis, collective cognitive dissonance – the bedrock of history stuck in a rut.

Start now to use this tool. Simply track it every day as you would your daily calendar, or your favorite Instagram feed, or subreddit or whatever! Hyperdimensional codes of time transmit the memes, updates and notifications of cosmic civilization, galactic consciousness.

Begin first by following the calendar every day. Every 13 Moon Calendar has the Gregorian calendar dates included on every day. So, for example you may know today is February 20, 2019. Find February 20 on the calendar, and realize we are indeed in Silio 14 of the Galactic Hawk Moon of Integrity – when we ask “Do I live what I believe?”. It is Kin 118, White Magnetic Mirror in the 260-kin galactic spin.

Just this is enough. Please don’t dawdle, and begin today. From there you can deepen your locus of this planetary treatment by taking your studies of the codes deeper. This rabbit hole goes way, way deep. The deeper you go, the deeper the healing. Start by tracking the 13 Moon date and the daily Kin. Then learn the fifth force oracle – the Wizard’s oracle. Learn the holons. Learn the interplanetary circuits. Learn the radial plasmas. And on, and on.

What we’re healing through the codes of the Law of Time and the 13 Moon Calendar is the disconnection of our third-dimensional (form) selves from our multidimensional selves.

Going back to the example of a person diagnosed with Parkinson’s rewiring themselves around even a progressing condition, through exertion: The condition will relapse if they become somehow unable to continue their exertion. Similarly, the 13 Moon Calendar only works so long as you are utilizing it – until the condition is fully healed.

Once you’ve opened the gate into the 13 Moon Calendar it initiates the healing, the condition of artificial time hypnosis becomes conscious. If your daily tracking of the codes wanes, the hypnosis may relapse, but fear not, the multidimensional rewiring is not undone, only dormant – awaiting your return: Your return to the multidimensional arena and dream which flowers and rises high above the dense rut of history, toward the warm beams of a galactic sun.

Organize

October 26, 2018 by jacob

Do you ever feel like life is just totally overwhelming? Like you are having so many experiences – sensory, emotional, intellectual – that it sometimes feels like there’s no way of fully digesting it all?

I get that feeling all the time.

The other day, White Self-Existing Mirror day in fact, it was a beautiful day here in southern Oregon. The smoke had been gone for at least a week, and we had finally gotten some rain to at least begin quenching the land. The fall colors had begun.

Going on a walk with my co-workers during break I was struck with just how beautiful a day it was! Especially to the eyes. Everywhere I looked was a picturesque masterpiece of visual beauty of the natural world. The mountains surrounding the valley floating vividly – a perfect frame to the sites of autumn beauty right in front of me.

As I took in this lovely vision, I remembered at that moment it was a White Self-Existing Mirror day. Mirrors are something you look into. Today was filled with visual beauty. I had this kind of feeling like my mind was being organized a little bit more clearly, or like my experiences were being sorted in a way in which I could more fully appreciate all its facets. In other words, the White Mirror was literally reflecting to me not only the stunning vistas before me, but the order and harmony coded into our very senses…

It occurred to me the 13 Moon Calendar often does this. Through its codes, the daily galactic signature and the cycles of the 13 Moons, often speak to a certain wavelength, or category of human experience. Almost like a kind of cosmic pre-school! Today we’re going to be learning about Breath, or Art, or Magic, or Love, or Reflection, or Energy. Then those elements of your day naturally become amplified – assuming you’re paying attention.

It’s not so much that we should all be thinking about the same thing every day, but that the codes of the galactic signature give you an opportunity to pay closer attention to how that code speaks to you during that day.

This can allow you to, on a cyclic basis, better digest all the myriad experiences you are constantly surfing through – and ideally offering you a kind of hand and foot hold as you ascend the mountainside of wisdom, clarity, perspective.

Or, in terms of the cycle of 13 Moons – called the planetary service wavespell – we, every 28 days, begin a new stage in a year-long process of reflecting: How can I serve the planet? It progresses in stages – the first Moon asking “What is my purpose?” Then: “What is my challenge?” “How can I best serve?” “What is the form my service will take?” And so on.

True, this is kind of like a programming device, but it’s in sharp contrast to the regiment of Hallmark and Government Holidays we’re already programmed with anyway – so why not upgrade? 😸

Searching

October 13, 2018 by jacob

“I feel like I’ve been searching for this!”

I hear things like this all the time from people who have just discovered the 13 Moon Calendar. Actually, this is the same kind of feeling I had when I learned about it.

Do you want to hear a little about when I learned about the 13 Moon Calendar? If so, read on 😊.

When I first learned about the 13 Moon Calendar I had happened to meet somebody who had a calendar for, I believe it was, the Blue Galactic Storm Year (2001-2002). It was the wall calendar made by Skytime. Back then they were only ever printed in black and white and nobody I knew up until then had ever heard of it.

In the calendar I saw the website www.tortuga.com – the official website for the Foundation for the Law of Time back then. (This is now a backpack website, synchronistically, Jose Arguelles wrote about “soul and backpack“)  This was around 2002 and I had just graduated from high school two years earlier. I took note of the website and as soon as I could get online I went straight to it. I began binge reading everything on the website. And even though the information, at face value, seemed completely out of context to anything in my life up until that point – it felt familiar.

I remember there were two things which stood out to me the most: The noosphere, and the rainbow bridge.

I had never before heard or read the word “noosphere” up until that point. The description on the website, written by Jose Arguelles, suggested that human evolution will move toward a type of collective consciousness – not “group think” or something like “the Borg” – but rather a unified planetary mind made up of 7 billion autonomous humans: This struck me to my core. The website went on to explain that in order to realize such a shift, human consciousness would have to be liberated from artificial time and brought back into harmony with the harmonic frequency of natural, or cosmic, time.

This is a far cry from the A.I. visions (and fears) of the future which permeate the collective narrative in today’s world.

Reading on, I first learned about the vision of the Circumpolar Rainbow Bridge, the “rainbow brain of planet Earth”. The very notion blew my mind: The aurora borealis and aurora australis are plasmic condensations which, being a function of the electromagnetic field of the Earth, could be interactively engaged by the electromagnetic fields of any number of synchronized human brains – and be extended and brought together to make a complete rainbow ring around the Earth. The creation of which would usher in a new time of peace through the power of its sheer beauty. Such a feat would again require the human mind to be brought back into harmony with the frequency of natural time.

Seeing the graphic of the rainbow bridge visualization I was stunned. Something inside clicked with familiarity.

I’m just sharing this with you so you know a bit more about my journey with coming into contact with the 13 Moon Calendar. And also, if you, like so many others, feel like it is something you had been searching for, or somehow familiar – to let you know you are not alone!

I’ve heard from so many people who share similar stories, and it’s like witnessing (and participating in) the awakening of some kind of collective memory or destiny. These experiences are real and I often wonder if they point to the early stages of galactic culture on Earth.

If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend the article “Galactic Culture and Cosmic Civilization” by Jose Arguelles.

Beyond history

September 30, 2018 by jacob

Sometimes when peering through certain kaleidoscopes you can become so transfixed with the pattern’s current permutation that you forget in short order you’ll be back at the beginning of the sequence once again. Other kaleidoscopes include tumbling “ingredients” which will cause the pattern to never be quite the same, but as a whole nothing will fully change.

Now there are also some kaleidoscopes which are like a triangular prism tunnel of mirrors. Wherever you point the kaleidoscope, the sight you see will become the contents of the kaleidoscope – but here it is the underlying pattern which remains the same.

Like a kaleidoscopes cycling through hypnotic patterns only to ultimately never change, history repeats itself on and on. The mirror kaleidoscopes of moral ambiguity, existential uncertainty, human inequality; The tumbling kaleidoscopes of conquest, political polarization, social unrest. To name a few. The repetitions within the record of history point to the underlying unconscious driving forces which cause us, as a society, to continue enacting a familiar drama again and again.

“There is no history in harmonic perfection.” So declares Book of the Throne: Cosmic History Chronicles, Volume I (page 28) when discussing the 13 Moon Calendar and synchronic order.

The book goes on to explain how a society encoded by irregular and irrational standard of measure will inevitably become entrained, unconsciously, to irregular and irrational behaviors which can never quite reach a state of harmonic resolution.

The standard of measure (read: programming device) of which it speaks is, of course, the irregular 12-month calendar coupled with the inexorably mechanical 60-minute clock:

“Movement caused by irregularity is what creates the notion of progress. Because things are so irregular you have to progress to make them better, but you will never make them better if you are always coming from a place of irregularity. This creates the ceaseless notion of progress in history.”

Such a standard of measure is in sharp contrast to the harmonic perfection of the 13 Moon Calendar. Not only is it a perfection of harmony, but is a living matrix of cosmic codes which exist independent of what we call history.

Book of the Throne calls the 13 Moon Calendar a tool for the instant transcendence of history. Calling it “instant” might sound optimistic. But the simple act of checking the 13 Moon Calendar every day, and reading the daily codes, you expose your mind and perceptions to the latest news update in an ongoing cosmic narrative – like getting a glimpse of blue sky beyond the haze. In this way, it really is instantaneous – only the effect deepens in stages.

You may start with the charge of curiosity and mystery as a result of the novelty of reading something like “Blue Magnetic Eagle”. Next day you’ll read “Yellow Lunar Warrior”. These phrases are far outside any context you can find on the front page of any newspaper. They transcend history and go directly to your subjective experience, while objectively progressing in a predictable yet ever-surprising pattern of harmony which in turn becomes the basis of ever-increasing experiences of synchronicity.

If nothing else happens aside from you receiving a fresh perception which raises you, daily, up and out of the quagmire of the broken-record of history, then the 13 Moon Calendar has done its job.

And the rabbit hole will go as deep as you wish to explore it.

Is free will a process?

September 4, 2018 by jacob

Is free will just a process?

You may have noticed for any “Yellow Human” day the code spell in the 13 Moon Calendar will say “I seal the process of free will.”

I find this fascinating. If free will is a process, that implies it is part of a larger structure. Also, any process implies containment, or a beginning and end.

When processing something, you begin to process it, until it’s processed, then you’re done. Something is “processed” until some purpose of outcome is reached.

Noting that the Yellow Human is just one of the 20 solar seals, your horizons might be expanded to perceive free will itself as just a fraction of the Totality of All That Is… The questions which then may follow further expand our horizons.

Zooming out to look at the entire cycle/system/pattern/matrix of the 20 solar seals could reveal the profile of some cosmic structure:

Input of birth
Input of breath
Input of abundance
Input of flowering

Store of life force
Store of death
Store of accomplishment
Store of elegance

Process of universal water
Process of heart
Process of magic
Process of free will

Output of space
Output of timelessness
Output of vision
Output of intelligence

Matrix of navigation
Matrix of endlessness
Matrix of self-generation
Matrix of universal fire

… rinse and repeat. (Always repeat)

These five sets (input, store, process, output and matrix) are the five time cells – defined in the Dreamspell: Journey of Timeship Earth 2013 as “one of five units created by the power of the fifth force coding the four cosmic root races [red initiators, white refiners, blue transformers, yellow ripeners]; self-circulating basis of the Timeship; combined with the thirteen galactic tones creates the basis of the 65 harmonics of the Harmonic Index of the Book of Kin.”

For more on the Harmonics, see Star Traveler’s 13 Moon Almanac of Synchronicity page 256.

And if you want to deepen this contemplation, on page 257 of the Star Traveler’s 13 Moon Almanac of Synchronicity you will see that each of the sections above are also labeled as follows: Input (inform), Store (remember), Process (formulate), Output (express), Matrix (self-regulate).

Holographic reality reminders

August 22, 2018 by jacob

As the old adage goes “As above, so below.”

Of course it also implies its compliment: “As below, so above.” This is really just an affirmation of the holographic nature of the universe, i.e. the whole is in every part. Everything is interconnected, there is nothing that doesn’t affect the whole. Our internal perceptions inform what we perceive. What we perceive informs our internal perceptions.

For example, the creation of the cosmos (above) eventually condenses into and informs the structures of our day to day life (“below”) – or the day to day life of any self-reflective consciousness throughout the universe for that matter. Then, that self-reflective consciousness becomes the “As below, so above” side of the equation. In other words, the act of self-reflective consciousness makes the universe conscious of itself – perhaps then re-creating the universe from the bottom up – as below so above.

Philosophical tricks of the mind such as manifestation through visualization, “The Secret” or other such practices seem to illustrate a nascent exploration of the self-reflective mind’s creation of creation itself.

I say nascent, because from a cosmic point of view, manifesting a new boat just seems a somewhat primitive use of such a principle. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with reaching goals like this, after all shouldn’t we enjoy life? I’m just exploring this question: Do such applications of this principle, proceeding from a place of individual attainment of goals, fail to fully engage its potential in a harmoniously unified yet autonomous collective?

More collective expressions of this principle have been seen in synchronized meditation leading to reduction in crime or other such harmonious results. For instance, shortly after the Harmonic Convergence of 1987 – the world’s first globally synchronized meditation/ceremony for peace – the Berlin wall fell. Causal? Who’s to tell…

In the analysis of the “Wavespell of Cosmic Creation” in Book of the Avatar: Cosmic History Chronicles Volume II, the entire 13.7 billion year history of this universe is likened to a complete wavespell of 13 Moons. In other words, if 1 complete year of 13 Moons/364 + 1 Day Out of Time = the 13.7 billion years of this universe’s existence, then the human is described as the ultimate pivot point in this particular timespace, in fact, the last second of the last minute of the “Day Out of Time” of the year.

It goes on to encourage us to consider ourselves as “pivotal” to the next stage in the evolution of the universe. If all of nature in our corner of the multiverse unconsciously evolved into its current form, culminating in the emergence of self-reflective consciousness, then it seems only logical that self-reflective consciousness would be the agent to affect the next stages of evolution.

The 13 Moon Calendar is a tool for collective realization of holographic consciousness. It is like a daily holographic reality reminder: “Here is a template of harmony. Here is a code within today’s portion of the template. See how it appears throughout your day”. The circuit of synchronicity which it “reveals” is as inherent in your own evolving seat of consciousness, as it is an infinitely vast universal matrix which informs all phenomena, including day to day life.

It becomes almost like a game of Eye Spy. “I spy with my little eye something fearless and magnetic; intelligent and driven by purpose.”

I unify in order to question
Attracting fearlessness
I seal the output of intelligence
with the magnetic tone of purpose
I am guided by my own power doubled

It takes Time

August 9, 2018 by jacob

It takes time to really get to the juicy stuff in the 13 Moon Calendar.

Sure, there are many ever-more advanced or intricate layers to its codes, but these deeper layers aren’t necessarily the juicy stuff. Actually, even if you dive right into the advanced levels of the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar, without taking the time to really engage it as an interactive living matrix – you won’t get the juicy stuff either.

No, the juicy stuff comes from the sometimes difficult process of integrating it into your daily life, as a gateway to new perceptions. First, you start by following the calendar every day, tracking the galactic signatures.

You will begin to notice more synchronicities enter your awareness. Small, seemingly mundane occurrences throughout the day will somehow connect with the codes for the day. A simple example is very windy weather during a White Wind day. Indeed, real magic is revealed from within those things you may have previously called mundane.

Sure, you have to live in this world, where 99% of people you know may not even know about the 13 Moon Calendar, let alone the notion of a living matrix of synchronicity. You’ll need to continue to manage your day to day responsibilities.

Maybe, perhaps unconsciously, you even feel like learning the 13 Moon Calendar may serve as an escape from the so-called mundane. But if you can utilize the 13 Moon Calendar to jump-start your present awareness, giving yourself a chance to perceive things anew – then you’ll be really getting to the juicy stuff…

Then you begin to get more familiar with its patterns. As the patterns become more clear, the mystification you may have felt in the beginning starts to fade. However, the mystery will deepen… Since you now understand the basics you can see the order within it, which will beckon you to look again more carefully and thereby set upon the path of exploring it ever more deeply.

Give yourself TIME when you begin to learn the 13 Moon Calendar. And try not to become overwhelmed. It really is like learning a new language, or a musical instrument. At first you won’t know how to play a simple tune, or you may feel that “Mary Had A Little Lamb” is just too boring. But continue to practice, with awareness and calm detachment – and especially with patience for yourself. You will soon begin to perceive the synchronicity symphony within, which may help uncover that ever-present vibrance beneath the surface of appearance.

Download a free, printable 13 Moon Calendar for this current year, or buy a 13 Moon Calendar here – either way you’ll begin a journey of magic – as well as supporting the ongoing flowering and dissemination of this knowledge base!

What is real? (Love)

July 27, 2018 by jacob

Well, dear friend, another night has gone by – 33 to be semi-exact – since our new baby was born.

Our new daughter Juniper (born on Blue Overtone Eagle) is doing well, and is certainly a bright light. Her brother, Aidan, has proven to be remarkably sensitive to her, even as he navigates the rapidly transforming landscape of his reality, both inner and outer.

Obviously raising children is not easy. Few activities or paths will confront with you with such unbridled reflections of your own unconscious. And even though I have so many doubts, concerns and frustrations related to being a parent in this sometimes oh so crazy world, while feeling totally unprepared and all levels – just being with my children brings forth some of the most powerful reminders.

Over the last week or so, as we approached this White Dog Wavespell of Love in the 13 Moon Calendar, I had been reflecting upon Love. Love of all things to be more specific.

I realize I’ve written a lot about “Well, of course we’re all one! Obviously we’re all interconnected and interdependent. But of course! we are rapidly becoming one global community because, after all, we’re really just One.” Or “surely” we all feel compassion for the suffering of every being, no matter who they might be. Notice a theme?

I did. I was taking for granted that everyone felt the same way I do.

Well, I want to get real here. Many of us, perhaps even you, can’t really fathom loving someone who is undoubtedly an enemy. There are any number of sources which can quickly confirm and justify your feelings of anything but Love for some people or groups. And I don’t mean to condemn that – in fact, to paraphrase Marshall Rosenberg, if feelings are alive in you, it’s communicating some need that you have. So whatever we feel is important and worthy of our consideration.

Tonight, around the time I helped my wife and partner-in-Love to change a singularly formidable diaper for Juniper; And after an evening of navigating the Master’s labyrinth of How-To-Teach-Justice-And-Compassion-To-The-Future-Holders with Aidan – these words came to me:

LOVE IS THE ONLY THING THAT IS REAL.

For me, the logic holds up. All we experience is a passing (and precious) dream, but what lasts and binds it all together is Love. Every moment invites us: What does Love do when it comes through YOU?

If you’re reading this you may very well be aware of, for example, the Rainbow Bridge Meditation. Or the Whole Earth Meditation. These meditations go hand in hand with use of the 13 Moon Calendar. In fact, the compassionate embrace of all life cultivated and explored by these meditations could be said to be the engine which makes the magic of the 13 Moon Calendar work at all.

I invite you to study these meditations at www.lawoftime.org/meditations

You will notice a theme: Our interconnectedness. The fact that the Earth embraces ALL no matter who they are, giving freely of Her resources, in endless acts of selflessness for Her children. That the Timeship Earth spins harmoniously and in perfect harmony to allow for such perfect conditions for His crew (i.e. all the life on Earth).

The Rainbow Bridge Meditation is synchronized to the “Silio” day on the 13 Moon Calendar. This is always the seventh day of the 13 Moon Calendar week (Days 7, 14, 21 and 28 of every Moon). During this Year of the Red Cosmic Moon, it will always be on the day “Wednesday” of the Gregorian calendar.

But, you can do the meditation any time you feel inspired to, and the more you do it the better I say!

The same goes for the Whole Earth Meditation, the Noosphere Meditation and Natural Mind Meditation. These simple practices are profoundly transformative when engaged with an innocent, curious and determined spirit.

The first thing you’ll see on the Meditations page is the Prayer of the Seven Galactic Directions. I find this to be a most beautiful invocation of the directions, deeply moving, mind-opening and heart-opening. Want to take your next potluck to a cosmic level? Try starting with this prayer 😁

I hope you’ll take the time to engage some of these practices in this Year of the Red Cosmic Moon. You’ll supercharge your experience of the 13 Moon Calendar as a cosmic and sacred path to the essence. And, bonus! I’m sure you’ll gain new insight on your heart’s needs!

Love and play

June 18, 2018 by jacob

One of the most fun aspects of the 13 Moon Calendar is the daily oracle which comes along with every galactic signature. I’ll explain a little and hope this greases the wheels for you to have fun exploring the oracle every day your self!

The daily oracle is properly called the fifth force oracle (or the wizard’s oracle…). While the galactic signatures describe a primary archetypal synchronic template, the oracle reveals the relationships intrinsic to each galactic signature.

As I described in my article about colors, the arrangements of key words within the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar make for fascinating subjects of meditation.

For instance, the Blue Monkey seal and White Dog seals are occult partners, meaning they are hidden powers of each other. (“occult” means “hidden”) Since the Monkey and Dog are hidden powers of each other this also offers an opportunity of reflection upon the coded arrangement of their key words.

The key action code for Monkey is play. The key action code for Dog is love.

From this, the logic follows that love is the hidden power of play. And play is the hidden power of love.

Do you agree that this provides more than enough raw material for some profound contemplation and discussion?

Love is hidden in play is hidden in love
Play is hidden in love is hidden in play

Making conscious the unconscious 🔦

June 5, 2018 by jacob

The Law of Time makes conscious what was unconscious.

Herein lies a clue to the deeper reason for the 13 Moon Calendar’s existence: as a tool for transformation. To shine light upon the darkness for the evolution of humanity and regeneration of the Earth.

To change the world, humans must think new thoughts, and re-examine core beliefs. The deeper the examination, the more meaningful the shifts in consciousness and behavior. And then: a changed world.

The Law of Time and 13 Moon Calendar confront us with the notion that Time is not linear, nor duration. Revisiting something so fundamental penetrates the psyche’s bedrock of conditioned assumptions. This disruption then ripples outward, or rather: inward.

The act scrutinizing our own limiting ideas generates a kind of mental momentum. Soon we may discover thoughts which aren’t even our own lurking around in our mind. Such thoughts are often entrenched and take up huge swathes of mental real estate.

After all, we inherit so much from our culture, but from what roots do each assumption stem? Who said a specific way of doing things is the right way? What reasons did they have? Such answers are lost in the Ocean of Time. Yet, the thoughts whose origins are unknown are often the ones we cling to the most! “I better keep this belief, just in case it’s right.” “I better continue doing this tradition, just in case it actually is important even though I’m not sure why it is to me.” “I better not breach [insert any superstition here] just in case I offend my community.”

The deliberate questioning of our assumptions is the mainstay of human maturation. It’s healthy to question our assumptions or beliefs. Not only to drop (or reformulate) those which no longer serve yourself (or others). But to also remind or reaffirm your reasons for staying true to those that do.

But making conscious the unconscious can be a double-edged sword. Once you start, it is like un-damming a river. Or like cleaning up a cluttered closet! Every item removed or re-sorted reveals yet another dusty artifact. But you can be certain that beneath all the junk there is the closet in its original, pristine form!

Sometimes this can be a very uncomfortable process. After all, ignorance is only bliss in a state of ignorance. Once ignorance goes bye-bye, a change must come next. As we cast away the shadows with the light of our self-inquiry, we face an imperative. The imperative to do something about what’s revealed. And the longer we wait, the more unconscious-dust will settle, obscuring our discovery. (And the less comfortable we’ll feel in our skin!)

As difficult as it may be, such examining might be the only way to end the cycle of the “terror of profane history.” (Book of the Throne, Cosmic History Chronicles Volume I).

The codes of the 13 Moon Calendar provide a daily template for thinking new thoughts. It’s one tool you can use to transcend the arbitrary and divisive thought-forms of history. Deepen your study of it with my course or through self-study, and make note of any shifts in consciousness you experience. (And then, where possible, change and grow as needed.)

Have you noticed any new perspectives on birth? Spirit? Intuition? Awareness? Instinct? Death? Healing? Art? Flow? Love? Magic? Free Will? Space? Timelessness? Vision? Intelligence? Evolution? Reflection? Self-generation? Life?

How about purpose? Challenge? Service? Form? Empowerment? Balance? Resonance? Integrity? Intention? Manifestation? Liberation? Cooperation? Presence?

And what about the interaction and relationship, in Time, of all those things with one another?

Make conscious the unconscious at a deeper level, and fearlessly shine your light upon the Earth!

Can I make some recommendations?

May 23, 2018 by jacob

While I LOVE teaching about the 13 Moon Calendar myself, today I’d like to share with you some of my favorite resources for learning more about it and bringing it into your life.

The 13 Moon Calendar represents the cultivation of new perceptions. It is not simply a calendar, but rather a map and guide to exploring the archetypal forces within you and your life. To be able to fully appreciating such a thing, it really requires you to step out of the ordinary and immerse yourself in unknown territory.

I have hand-picked these resources to help lay the foundation of a strong orientation toward the multidimensional perceptions (spiritual and mental in nature) which fuel a practical understanding and utilization of the 13 Moon Calendar. The first five in the list are FREE but the rest are well worth the investment if you’re serious about deepening your studies into the 13 Moon Calendar and Law of Time.

Hope you enjoy the list! I’ll see you next wavespell with a new article…

  • Living Time Science – “Thinking With A New Mind” by Stephanie South
This is a free PDF you receive when you sign up for blog updates at Stephanie South’s “Living Time Science” website. This short but sweet tome is a a fantastic and easy to swallow “red pill”.
  • 28-day Introduction to Galactic Consciousness
This is a free PDF eBook you receive when you sign up for the Foundation for the Law of Time’s Noos-letter. It is best to begin this 28-day walkthrough at the beginning of a 28-day Moon of the 13 Moon Calendar.
  • The 260 Postulates of the Dynamics of Time (Free PDF, or $13 paperback)
Essential study material for anyone serious about deeper understanding of the Law of Time and synchronic order. It features a slow-drip reading method, one postulate per day for 260 days, for maximum absorption.
  • The Galactic Times eZine – Volume 0 & Volume 1 (Free PDFs, or $15 paperback)
The “illusory ezine from other worlds” created by Stephanie South. A favorite to return to time and again for inspiration.
  • Master Synchronic Code Book
This will give you A LOT to study. And it’s 7-year calendar from 2006-2013 is still an excellent resource to further study the interconnected cycles of the 13 Moon Calendar. It also includes a 104-year ephemeris which you can use for quick and easy galactic signature decoding.
  • Daily Galactic Inspiration: 365 Quotes ($7 PDF eBook)
If you love inspirational quotes you’ll love this. What makes this especially special is every quote is hand-picked, and coded into the 13 Moons of the synchronometer.
  • Galactic Meditation: Entering the Synchronic Order ($9.99 eBook or $13 paperback)
Another essential guide. This includes instructions into a method called “galactic meditation”, and a concise description of the fourth-dimensional synchronic order in relation to the third dimension. This was Jose Arguelles’ first published book which referenced the holomind perceiver…
  • 2012: Biography of a Time Traveler and Time, Synchronicity and Calendar Change: The Visionary Life and Work of Jose Arguelles ($24.99 paperback, or $16.99 eBook)
Stephanie South’s two-part authorized biography of Jose Arguelles, the man who discovered the Law of Time and created the 13 Moon Calendar. His life story is an epic of cosmic proportions – both of these books are amazing reads!
  • Manifesto for the Noosphere: The Next Stage in the Evolution of Human Consciousness ($14.95 paperback or $9.99 eBook here)
The final book published by Jose Arguelles. I struggle to find words to give justice to how essential this book is to humanity.
  • The Art Planet Chronicles: The Making of the Fifth Ring ($19.99 paperback)
Previously unpublished visionary fiction written by Jose Arguelles. This was actually the first book I ever read by Jose, and it blew my mind to the end of the cosmos and back. Plus it’s incredibly fun and evocative!

Dear humans

May 10, 2018 by jacob

Isn’t it amazing to be a human? Several Buddhists texts include the exclamation ema ho. Roughly translated it means “how wonderful!” But its deeper nuance is an expression of sheer awe that any of this exists at all, including us to experience it. Do you ever just stop and contemplate what it is being this thing we call “human”? And maybe, where we are going?

I often wonder if the human being has already reached the limit of its physical evolution… Sure, maybe we’ll eventually stop growing wisdom teeth or other such minor modifications. But if I may speculate wildly – hang on a sec! This is my newsletter, of course I may! Anyway, for all intents and purposes, we are at a point where further physical evolution may be unnecessary. Even from a natural selection point of view!

After all, we’ve adapted to all climates and don’t really have any survival imperative to mutate… (No naturally occurring imperatives anyway – we’re plenty threatened by our own devices, which is a whole can of worms unto itself…!)

So, for the sake of argument (and to give me license to follow this stream of thought) let’s just agree we really have reached the upper limit of our physical evolutionary requirements. Could this mean the next stages in our evolution will be internal evolution? An evolutionary improvement of our mind and being. Or in a word: wisdom.

This is in stark contrast to a couple commonly discussed options of progressing as a species. On one hand you have the notion of putting our consciousness into computers and leaving behind the human body entirely. On the other, exodus from Earth to another habitable planet. Actually, these are two sides of the same coin: radically relying upon technology for human progress.

Frankly, to me, these two ideas add up to nothing more than running away from our problems while completely ignoring individual and collective growth and maturation.

It fascinates (and, yes, disturbs) me to be alive at a point in history where such ideas are being given serious consideration. And by some these are presented as the only path forward for humanity.

This is simply an unconscious adherence to the overtly materialistic and externalized modus operandi of our civilization (in general). Ever since the time of the industrial revolution our external acceleration has been cozying up to an exponential curve leading straight up into the impenetrable ceiling of our own internal limitations.

An internal evolution (or as the Cosmic History Chronicles calls it: spiritual/mental evolution) means a turning inward of our priorities. Fact is, the internal realms are as boundless as cosmic space – and we have barely scratched the surface of exploring this.

However, for the most part, just about every ancient, indigenous culture’s primary focus was in fact the internal realms. But with the rise of industry and imperial-type dominance we threw the baby out with the bathwater: All but completely eschewing (and in some cases, all but completely destroying) the wisdom of those ancient cultures.

When the people’s focus is on the internal, even a (so called) primitive culture is already on an evolutionary path. And: If the primary occupation of a culture revolves around the deeper mysteries of life, not only does this dissolve superfluous material complexities of a society, but it cultivates a more dignified and unified people.

As a planetary culture we are scarcely adolescent, toddler even. The mainstream narrative, especially political, seems unable to grasp let alone cope with what it means to be a planetary being. Yet, that is exactly what we are. And, if we’re really being honest, on some level, some part of our being is completely aware of, processing, feeling or attuned to all the life on Earth.

Therefore some part of us is always acutely aware of how petty and meaningless all wars and conflicts are. This, coupled with knowing these wars are the primary causes of needless injustice and suffering in our world, can make for a fairly grim backdrop.

It is time to get back to the internal realms. To once again raise them up as the highest value of our planetary culture.

This is a central purpose of the 13 Moon Calendar. It is a trigger for your internal self-reflection. The synchronicities, symbols and patterns connect directly to your internal experience: Only through self-inquiry and self-reflection can you glean some meaning from them, and illuminate a path to the future that lies within. This is far different than warring endlessly for resources to see who can colonize another planet first. Or making a hyper-intelligent algorithm to replace human consciousness (rather: to approximate the human ego).

One person at a time, one day at a time, we can build momentum toward prioritizing the internal realms and ever-more clearly hear the message in our hearts. The 13 Moon Calendar is one tool to help with this process. I invite you to utilize it along with any other self-cultivation practices you have to further amplify the signal of the inner voice.

It is what it is

April 27, 2018 by jacob

The 13 Moon Calendar is not astrology. What is astrology?

As·trol·o·gy [əˈsträləjē/] noun – the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.

As I’ve ranted about before, the 13 Moon Calendar does not take the various spinnings, collisions and jostlings of things out there as its frame of reference. Rather, the Law of Time posits that the mathematics upon which the 13 Moon Calendar is based actually underlie and inform all those jostlings in the first place.

This is not to disrespect the practice of astrology which, like anything we lovely humans set our minds to, can range from the brilliant and insightful to the fun and silly.

But the 13 Moon Calendar is its own thing. I’ll put here Jose Arguelles’ oft-spoken words to the wise: Forget what you know. Do not try to comprehend with what you think you understand.

True, since the 13 Moon Calendar gives you a galactic signature it is very common to relate this to an astrological sign. But there’s no need to automatically pigeonhole the whole kit and caboodle in the “stuff like Astrology” aisle of our mind’s library, which is now spilling off the shelves with things like tarot, crystal balls, divination cards and internet personality quizzes. [Which Star Wars character are YOU?]

Now, I enjoy these things as much as the next human. [I’m Luke Skywalker by the way, of course!] In fact, I used to diligently check various divination decks each day, and it undoubtedly provided some fascination, upliftment and even profound comfort at times. But regarding the 13 Moon Calendar I just want to help you organize your mind’s library in the best way possible.

First, you can put a placeholder on the shelves of this “Stuff Like Astrology” aisle that says “13 Moon Calendar? See: New discoveries”. In fact, you could put this placeholder into any aisle of your library: Music, physics, color theory, community organization, whole systems thinking, cooking, aesthetics, dance, comedy, cooking, gardening – you get the idea.

Then, in your mind’s library I want you to install this interdimensional portal. Don’t worry, it’s free. And to download it all you have to do is whistle and hum at the same time. Go ahead, I’ll wait…

All done? Great!

This interdimensional portal will take you to a special place in the center of the center where your mind can perceive directly, free of the limitations of any preconceived notions about anything. The perfect state of mind to be in when learning the 13 Moon Calendar! And, thanks to the placeholder you put into all the other aisles of your mind’s library, from here you can instantaneously make free associative connections between the 13 Moon Calendar and every other topic imaginable, without letting those topics confuse what the 13 Moon Calendar itself actually is.

Now we’re getting somewhere! Let’s review. The Law of Time says that Time:

  • Is the fourth dimension
  • Is the universal frequency of synchronicity
  • Taken as a whole constitutes the synchronic order or universal order of synchronicity, which
  • Is primary to, underlies, informs, dictates, molds, shapes, directs the physical universe
  • Is interactively engageable, on Earth, through daily use of the 13 Moon Calendar, being a coherent standard of measure in harmony with the mathematics/symmetry/rhythms of the synchronic order
  • Is art!

The 13 Moon Calendar is also a master synchronization matrix that any cosmology can be plugged into. For example, a tarot reading, can be viewed through or along with the 13 Moon Calendar as a lens to discover the fourth-dimensional synchronicity underlying the reading.

Pro tip: The (free, downloadable) 260 Postulates of the Dynamics of Time introduces the term celestial harmonics, a very helpful topic to meditate on and become familiar with for deeper comprehension of the 13 Moon Calendar.

How does one plug things in to the 13 Moon Calendar? It’s simple: Find the numbers involved, and you plug it in! I’ll provide one example, because it really is just a matter of matching numbers, and the sky’s the limit…

Example: The chromatic scale consists of 13 notes (including the top/final note). The 13 Moon Calendar has several different cycles of 13:

  • Every 13 days starts a wavespell (On Magnetic tone days) – So, pick a chromatic scale and assign the first note to the Magnetic tone, and go from there.
  • Every 13 weeks is a quarter of the year – Same as above, starting with the first week of the 13 Moon Year (Magnetic Moon days 1-7), assign the first note of the scale to that week, and go from there.
  • Every 13 Moons is one year – Same again, first Moon = first note, second Moon = second note, and so on.

Every system and structure has its number, and so can be plugged into the 13 Moon Calendar to reveal and measure its synchronicity. Unifying different systems in time reveals a larger pattern of universal meaning.

Death 💀

April 14, 2018 by jacob

This article was released on Kin 66: White Magnetic Worldbridger, with the code:

I unify in order to equalize
Attracting opportunity
I seal the store of death
With the magnetic tone of purpose
I am guided by my own power doubled

Let’s talk about death 😇

The night before I began to write this, I was lying awake in bed for a long time. A constellation of perceptions was taking shape into an unsettling revelation. I felt a strong sensation that the appreciation of the invisible, the mystery – hell, the essential is fading away from the world.

I notice ever more value judgements made, about profoundly fundamental aspects of human experience, based solely upon surface level appearances. In a previous article I touched upon this with regards to meditation and how the mainstream conversation of the topic tends to focus on the material benefits at the expense of its actual purpose.

But that same uncomfortable nagging I felt also calls to mind a disturbing pair of videos I recently watched, about aging and death. Go ahead and take a look if you have a few minutes…

Both of these video makers create fascinating and beautifully produced videos, which can be highly educational. But to me these two videos in particular belie a (perhaps unexamined) disdain for humanity in some sectors of the scientific community. Concurrently they present a thoroughly materialistic view of life and death beneath a veneer of skeptical credibility.

Of course these videos make many interesting and poignant observations. But, the whole premise stands upon the idea that humans cannot cope with the reality of death. We are too immature and fragile to accept that death is a part of life. And we must aim to eradicate aging and death as we would any illness!

Along similar lines (and not to pick a fight here) Neil deGrasse Tyson argues: If God does exist “either the God is not all powerful, or is not all good. It can’t really be both, given all the ways the universe wants to kill us.” Such a statement again betrays an assumption of death itself being an absolute negative, rather than simply another aspect of a vast, mysterious universe.

I think the problem with materialist or positivist science, is their methods rely solely on what can be reasoned, deduced, or calculated based upon the physical world that we can perceive through the senses. Such a limitation is like putting a straight-jacket on intelligence or even imagination. Or like imprisoning consciousness – which has various methods and modes of experience.

Even more to the point, such a basis of understanding completely eliminates any acceptance or receptivity to the notion of a soul, or something essential to every human being which has existed before the body it is animating, and which would continue to exist after.

Tyson goes on to say: “an asteroid rendered 70% of all life forms extinct … 65 million years ago that took out the dinosaurs.” Here he is using a hypothesis of something we can never actually know by using existing scientific means at our disposal to deny the existence of that which may never be knowable through those same means. This is absurd, yet is an example of common practice in debates about the existence of anything invisible or unmeasurable.

These trends give me a grave sense that we are, sadly, losing touch with what is, to me, the roots of this existence.

Is there anything more human than pondering questions such as “Why am I here? Where was I before I was here? Where will “I” be when I die? What is death? Who am I? If I’m not my thoughts, than who or what am I? Am “I” a function of my biology?” Indeed, most people, regardless of their cultural origins, contemplate such things naturally, especially as children.

But, is this kid stuff? Should we not consider these even more deeply as we age? Or could it be that the effects of a materialist-driven, physical/surface-obsessed civilization has discouraged our continued appreciation of the invisible, and of these meaning-endowing questions?

In the simplest cosmological level of the 13 Moon Calendar, death is but one archetypal attribute in a totality of 20(+1) archetypes. I think this offers a healthy dose of equanimity, an essential prescription for clarity on the subject.

Can I play the wise fool?

April 1, 2018 by jacob

Dated: Solar Moon 26, Kin 53: Red Magnetic Skywalker (1 April 2018)

The 13 Moon Calendar is a master synchronization matrix, making conscious the ever-existing web of synchronicity permeating the universe.

When I started this newsletter and decided to send an article out on the magnetic tone of every wavespell I had no idea I was putting in an order for such a scrumptious synchronicity sandwich as the one before me now!

As you know today is April Fool’s day. Today is also Easter Sunday. On the 13 Moon Calendar today is Kin 53, Red Magnetic Skywalker. Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients of this synchronicity sandwich…

Kin 53, Red Magnetic Skywalker (1 Skywalker) corresponds to the day “1 Reed” in the Aztec calendar, and was the day that the cultural prophet Quetzalcoatl both “departed upon a raft of thirteen serpents” and the day he said he would return. So today is kind of like a resurrection of Quetzalcoatl, who was arguably a “Christ-like” figure in Mesoamerican culture. “1 Reed” is also the day that Quetzalcoatl prophesied an entrance into a 1,144-year cycle known as the “9 Hells”…

Easter Sunday the commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, always occurs on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon following or during the vernal equinox.

But let’s look a little closer at April Fool’s Day: While its origins are unclear, the primary legend is this: Before the implementation of the Gregorian calendar in 1582, the “new year” was observed on March 25. (?? I know, I don’t get it either!) Anyway, there were no celebrations for the new year at this time, since March 25 always fell during the Christian observance of “Holy Week” (including Easter) and so New Year’s celebrations began on April 1. But after the Gregorian calendar was implemented, it was decided that January 1 would be New Year’s Day.

(Note: Some sources claim this legend is not the true origin, and that this season of pranking, hoaxing and practical joking had being going on for well before the 1500’s.)

It is interesting to step back and recognize that the practice of celebrating a new year on March 25 goes back to at least around four thousand years ago (appx. 2000 B.C.), when the Mesopotamian people would celebrate the new year at the time of the vernal equinox. This is just one example of a culture who celebrated the cycles of nature in such a way, and surely there are other cultures whose history of such practices goes back even further than this.

In the case of ancient Mesopotamia, the celebration of the vernal equinox is an example of their cultural worship of the forces of nature. Practices like this were later deemed as paganistic by Christians, and often eschewed or even condemned. Which is also a little odd, being that Easter itself is calculated based upon the equinox.

I can’t help but wonder if April Fool’s day in some way was a jab at the people who still wished to continue observing their nature-based worship. Conjecture? Absolutely. But then again history is just filled to the brim with one religion ridiculing or oppressing another. The spread of the Gregorian calendar through the Doctrine of Discovery is a perfect example of this kind of oppression.

Indeed, it was the arrival of Hernan Cortes, on the day “1 Reed” in the Aztec Calendar which fulfilled Quetzalcoatl’s prophecy of entrance into the cycle of “9 Hells”. This cycle concluded in 1987 – commemorated by the Harmonic Convergence: the world’s first globally synchronized meditation for peace.

What a fascinating synchronic sandwich we have today, wouldn’t you agree? On the one hand, the Gregorian calendar is dialed in to April Fool’s day, whose origins lie in cultural observances of the natural cycles; and Easter Sunday, commemorating Christ’s resurrection, itself anchored to the vernal equinox. On the other hand the 13 Moon Calendar reveals today is also Kin 53, that same “1 Reed” sign of Quetzalcoatl and his return, so intimately connected to the tragic history of the settling of the Americas and subjugation of its people, conducted (bizarrely) in the name of Christ.

There sure is a lot of history to heal and bring to light. Decoding history, world events, and even our lives through the lens of the 13 Moon Calendar reveals the luminous grid of the synchronic order, the archetypal heartbeat underneath it all.

Time and Telepathy

March 19, 2018 by jacob

Here’s an article I wrote sometime around 2006 or so. Thought I’d bring it back out of hiding so folks like you could enjoy it too 😊

Telepathy and Time – Finding the Solution to Our Human Crisis

All of nature is harmony. It is a multi-sensory symphony of harmonic expression and order.

The reason behind the harmony of nature is telepathy. Through telepathy, nature is totally interconnected and so can behave as one cooperative organism – for example, because of their telepathy you won’t ever see anything like a traffic jam in the bird kingdom! But what is telepathy anyway?

Allow us to put it simply:

Telepathy is the attribute of instantaneous sending and receiving of information [no technological gadgetry required].

All of life possesses this attribute.

Telepathy is the factor that allows fireflies to light up at precisely the same moment in synchronization; it is why schools of fish behave as one organism; because it puts everything instantaneously in touch with everything else, telepathy is responsible for the harmony of nature and, indeed, the whole cosmos.

To expand upon this point, we need to understand that telepathy and the experience of time are like two sides of the same coin. The cycles of natural time are like the heartbeat that keeps the telepathic connection strong and fluid, and therefore maintains nature’s harmony through time. This creates a rhythm which is continuously keeping things going toward higher and higher harmony.

However, we humans face a unique problem (unique, yes, but our problems are undoubtedly being felt by the rest of nature). Our unique problem is that due to our increasingly artificial ways of life we have literally deconstructed or, rather, entombed our telepathy – buried it alive! Through the process of history and the triumph of materialism, our birthright of a natural harmonious life on this planet has been replaced by artificial civilization, which is driven by a perception that the purpose of life is to progress in production of consumer goods ad infinitum, with the assumed goal of making life more comfortable.

Some even say that technology is the “only thing that has improved human life” (Peter Joseph, Zeitgeist – Addendum). While it is true that some technology has improved some areas of human life, this belief does not take into account the mental, emotional and spiritual parts of our reality. Also, this statement does not take into consideration the profound effect that technology has had on all of our minds. We must now actually compete, almost daily, with the speed (and inherent problems) of the technology we created. Technology then becomes overpowering and oppressive, being almost the main feature of civilization! This creates a very chaotic and very emotionally upsetting and spiritually barren landscape to live our lives in.

The irony is that our artificial civilization has actually culminated in a full-on pseudo telepathy: the cybersphere (internet, cell phone technology, etc.) – all of this is the artificial version of that which we left behind when we turned away from nature: our telepathic unity. From this observation one could easily conclude that, psychologically, the whole history of civilization has been unconsciously driven by the deep desire and need to regain our telepathy – which is our living certainty of interconnectedness with each other, the rest of nature and the planet.

We face a real and serious problem in this disconnection from nature and our own telepathy. The cause of this problem is deceptively simple.

As we said before, telepathy is maintained through nature’s connectivity to the rhythms of harmonic cycles of time. However, the hidden core of our increasing alienation from nature is the fact that our experience of time adheres to two of our own inventions:

  1. The Gregorian calendar, used globally: which stunts our timing sensibilities through its across-the-board irregularity (months of 31 days, 30 days, 28/29 days, 31 days; irrational names for the months and days, etc.).
  2. The mechanical clock, the first machine, also used globally. The clock actually has nothing to do with the real experience of time, it is an arbitrary measurement and was initially created as a knick-knack or toy. But now it has become the supreme gear which runs our entire civilization!

These two inventions are the root cause of our disconnection from nature and, by extension, all of the problems resulting from that disconnection.

However, now that virtually the entire planet is feeling the effects of technology, it is no surprise that now is the time that the solution has come: in the form of the 13 Moon/28-Day Calendar – the synchronometer which realigns the human mind with the cosmic cycles of higher time and synchronicity, resurrecting our telepathy and natural birthright as sovereign autonomous planetary humans.

So, the solution to the human crisis we now face is as deceptively simple as is the cause:

Change the Calendar!
Sound simple? It is!

The 13 Moon/28-Day Calendar/Synchronometer is so elegantly simple and cosmically logical that it endows the mind with freshness and clarity. Furthermore, daily use of this synchronometer rehabilitates human telepathy.

But once we’ve returned to natural time and regained our telepathy, then the real work of cleaning up the Earth can begin on a whole new level!

I look forward to seeing you there.

Celestial order comes from synchronic order

March 6, 2018 by jacob

For new students of the 13 Moon Calendar a common stumbling block is the tendency to try and reconcile it absolutely with some relative measurement of the physical motion of celestial bodies through space.

Everything in the vast universe is moving, spinning and orbiting in many directions simultaneously, relative to an infinite array of reference points which can be used to measure an infinite array of celestial cycles. With information like this we even make bold estimations of the time it takes for the Sun to complete its orbit around the galaxy. (Current estimates are 230 million years…!)

But, nailing down exacting answers to the actuality of celestial cycles is an elusive undertaking, even in relative terms. Relative to the Sun, the Earth orbits around it every 365+ days. Relative to the Earth, the Moon orbits around it 13-ish times during 365+ days. For the best of all our observations, these measurements are always approximate. The cosmos isn’t some gigantic, crude machine made of gargantuan steel cogs.

“So, how do you know that today is Blue Magnetic Hand and not another galactic signature?” “What if it was miscalculated and we’re all on the wrong day!” “Isn’t it a beam shooting out from the center of the galaxy to our planet?” “What if we lose track of it???” “How can you skip a signature during leap day and not fall out of step with the cycle?”

These great questions come from a fundamental misunderstanding of the 13 Moon Calendar, and so are often the cause of sufficient confusion to even make people just give up on learning it!

The 13 Moon Calendar isn’t a mechanically precise engineering schematic of the relative movement of physical bodies through space.

True, 13 Moons of 28 days each plus 1 Day Out of Time is arguably the most elegant way to measure the cycle of Earth’s orbit around the Sun.

True, the 260-day cycle is the approximate duration of human gestation.

True: The perpetual 52-year cycle (synchronizing the 365- and 260-day cycles) is a very close approximation of the physical orbit of the star Sirius B around Sirius A.

But: From the perspective of the Law of Time, the evolutionary virtue of tracking all these cycles is that they are in tune with (and therefore tune human conscious in to) the universal frequency of synchronization (13:20).

In other words, the 13 Moon Calendar isn’t as concerned with the perceived motion of celestial bodies, as with the actual fourth-dimensional latticework which informs those movements. This latticework is constructed upon specific mathematical principles, including the ratio 13:20, 4:7::7:13, and so on. This is called the synchronic order: “the determining mental and telepathic order of the universe” (Jose Arguelles, The 260 Postulates of the Dynamics of Time).

The synchronic order is as primary as, if not primary to, the principles of what we call physics. From this perspective, physics is simply the science of the what we can perceive through the senses and their artificial extensions, such as telescopes, microscopes, antennae, etc.

The Law of Time boldly posits the existence of multidimensional laws and principles of cosmic order which pre-exist everything measurable through our current model of physics. Woah! But is it really that crazy of an idea? After all, we’re just one type of life form in an unfathomably endless universe. Doesn’t it seem a little presumptuous to think only our particular sensory apparati is capable of perceiving everything?

Anyway, if everything we perceive through our senses is the Broadway Show, the synchronic order is the script or Director, giving the performance some coherence and order (such as lines being spoken in the right place and the right time!). Following this analogy, an experience of synchronicity is like performing your lines at a pivotal moment in the story and then noticing the Director giving you a big smile and thumbs up!

Despite all the dubious analogies I can come up with, utilizing the 13 Moon Calendar is truly a scientific study. But unlike fields such as astronomy you are not dealing with physics but synchronometrics – the measure of synchronicity in your own direct experience. The 13 Moon Calendar (synchronometer) describes the mathematical principles of the synchronic order as a coherent system for timekeeping which cultivates in the user an increasing experience, and therefore understanding, of synchronicity.

The 13 Moon Calendar’s unique purpose is not to keep track of something happening out there but everywhere at once. So while synchronometrics is performed through the tracking of cycles, the motion of celestial objects as such is not the point, but rather the order underlying those movements and our direct experience of that order.

To a classically trained scientist it might sound brazen to assert that something as simple as a “calendar” could measure and elucidate something primary to everything that is known about physics. But I’ll happily accept an outraged backlash to the question: What good is our scientific method if direct experience is not a factor in the equation?

Natural mind

February 21, 2018 by jacob

Though many people practice or are familiar with some kind of meditation, often a type of guided visualization, very few people, relatively speaking, are actually familiar with the meditation practice whose sole purpose is to introduce you to natural mind. Without knowing natural mind—the universal nature of yours and everyone else’s mind—the other forms of meditation may be nothing more than a kind of escapism. Especially for those of us espousing the virtues and values of returning to natural time is it utterly necessary to balance our knowledge with direct experience of natural mind.

—Jose Arguelles, Natural Mind, Natural Time

Self-empowered “Chief Doer of Stuff”, Jason Zook, whose writing on taking action I greatly enjoy, recently wrote an article about meditation. In it he reports how he set out to choose a meditation practice for himself. As usual he makes plenty of keen observations, but something nagged at me as I read. In his research, he found the commonly stated reasons why one “should” meditate. Things like (quoting his article):

  • You’ll sleep better
  • You’ll have less overall stress
  • You’ll eat a more mindful diet (less stress or binge eating)
  • You’ll be able to reduce pain and heal faster
  • You’ll be able to beat anxiety or general worrying
  • You’ll smile more
  • You’ll have a more relaxed outlook on all things
  • You’ll enhance your love life
  • You’ll feel more successful and achieve more goals

Notice anything missing? Well for me this list was a real head-scratcher. Let me give you a little back-story: I was fortunate enough to have been one of the assistants in a meditation seminar conducted by Jose Arguelles in 2005.

Prior to the meditation seminar, Jose Arguelles taught us natural mind meditation. For several weeks we would meet to meditate, and discuss natural mind. Thanks to this training, I received the priceless gift of knowing the value of sitting on my bun every single day to directly experience natural mind. And it is something I diligently continued to do for one to two hours per day for several years.

So, to me, that “list of benefits” as marketing for meditation products glaringly lacked the actual point of meditation practice. No, those things are simply the likely beneficial side-effects of doing the work to observe directly, and come to know, your own mind.

It was a poignant yet disheartening realization to see how there are so many meditation “products” cluttering up the internet being promoted simply as a means to achieve these benefits. As a result it seems the point of meditation is completely lost to the “meditation consumer”. Furthermore, if these “trendy” apps become the most common or trusted voices about meditation, this will result in discourse about meditation by people who have exactly zero first-hand experience with actual meditation.

This is a tragic loss of an opportunity. Internet technology can allow us all to exponentially increase our ability to mutually support one another in understanding Mind and, hence, reality at a deeper level (no matter one’s religion or culture). Or experience and experiment with synchronized meditation, the kind of meditation that has even demonstrated the power to reduce crime and increase peace. But, the clamor for quick money on the internet all but drowns out any credible voices or communities who could offer real, experiential wisdom on the subject.

Jose Arguelles called meditation “all-inclusive study”. It is one of the most scientific endeavors you can embark upon, since you are endeavoring to experience reality as it is. Through meditation you come, ever so scarcely at first, into contact with Mind (with a capital “M”) or that consciousness, or awareness or light that exists regardless of your thoughts, ideas, intentions, goals, prayers, plans or projections. That Mind which existed long before your body was formed in your mother’s womb, and which will last long after.

The perspective of the Law of Time is that this Mind is co-extensive with space itself, and absolutely and completely permeates the entire universe, as does the synchronic order.

The truth is, to really understand the 13 Moon Calendar, or rather, the accurate perception and experience of multidimensional Time (a.k.a synchronic order) as accessed via the 13 Moon Calendar – the practice of natural mind meditation is totally necessary.

So I invite you to read Jose Arguelles’ article from 2005: Natural Mind, Natural Time. (Note: This article was originally written with the noble yet ambitious goal of Universal Peace by 2012, a whole topic unto itself, but his commentary on natural mind remains more relevant than ever).

Deeply consider the profound points he addresses in this excellent article, and I hope you’ll consider practicing natural mind meditation every day – even if it’s just for 10-15 minutes to start! Even better if you and a few of your friends or family practiced and discussed regularly, along with your study of the 13 Moon Calendar.

In fact, I just created a Natural Mind Meditation group on galacticSpacebook for those who may like to meet and share this way.

It’s a new galactic spin!

February 8, 2018 by jacob

I sent this to my newsletter at the beginning of a new 260-galactic spin (which started 8 February 2018):

Life moves onward in every moment. Sometimes it seems as if life gives us something, and sometimes it seems that it takes something away. Some things end, while others begin. Yet in every end there is a beginning. Today is a day of beginnings.

Did you make a New Year’s resolution? Have you kept up on it? Statistically speaking most people give up on their New Year’s resolution goals early in the year. Which is understandable, because we tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves!

Well, if you’re one of those folks – you’re not alone! And in any case: You’re in luck! Today [or yesterday, if you are in or further east of the Indochina Time Zone] begins a new 260-day galactic spin. What’s a galactic spin you ask?

A galactic spin is a 260-day cycle. This 260-day cycle can also fractally expand to any cycle of 260… 260 weeks, 260 Moons, 260 years, 260 generations, 260 centuries, 260 MILLENNIA!!!! Point is, it can expand and contract to become an infinitely and fractally self-nested cycle.

But more to the point: The galactic spin is the perfect yardstick for measuring fourth-dimensional Time. Or natural Time. This is because natural or fourth-dimensional Time is a frequency ratio 13:20, and 13×20 = 260, hence the 260-day galactic spin. Amazingly this is roughly the same duration as the human gestation cycle (measured from conception, i.e. 37-ish weeks, or 9-ish lunation cycles – not from the last menstrual cycle which is where the 40 week measurement comes from, by the way).

So why not make a galactic resolution? If you’re signed up to this newsletter then you must be interested in the 13 Moon Calendar! So my challenge to you is to commit to following/tracking/looking at the 13 Moon Calendar for 260-days straight (without missing a SINGLE day) and see what you see!

If you don’t yet have a 13 Moon Calendar, download one here. And here are a few things to assist and enliven your exploration:

  1. The Tzolkin / Harmonic Module – You can print this out as big as you want and check off the days as you go through the 260 days.
  2. The Book of Kin – This is the complete “book” of all 260 galactic signatures and their synchronization commands. You could read this, one Kin per day for the next 260 days.
  3. The 260 Postulates of the Dynamics of Time – If you really want to dive deep. I’ve recommended this several times before, and I’ll keep recommending it! The chapters of this book are numbered 0-19. Chapter “0” corresponds to the Yellow Sun, Chapter 1 corresponds to Red Dragon,… Chapter 19 corresponds to Blue Storm. Each chapter has 13 postulates corresponding to each of the 13 galactic tones. For example, today Kin 1: Red Magnetic Dragon corresponds to Postulate number “1.1”. In the postulate numbering, the first number corresponds to the solar seal, and the second number corresponds to the galactic tone. Red Dragon is seal number 1 and magnetic tone is tone number 1 – hence, postulate 1.1.Another example: 13 days from today will be Kin 14: White Magnetic Wizard. White Wizard is solar seal number 14. Magnetic is galactic tone number 1. So the postulate is 14.1.

After that will be Kin 15: Blue Lunar Eagle. Blue Eagle is solar seal number 15. Lunar is galactic tone number 2. So the postulate for that day is 15.2.

A few more examples to make sure there’s no confusion: Kin 26: White Cosmic Worldbridger. White Worldbridger is solar seal number 6. Cosmic is galactic tone number 3. So the postulate for that day is 6.13.

Now, the next day will be Kin 27: Blue Magnetic Hand. Blue Hand is solar seal number 7. Magnetic is tone number 1. So the postulate is 7.1.

Lastly, remember that Yellow Sun days correspond to Chapter “0” in the postulates. So, Kin 100: Yellow Solar Sun… Yellow Sun is solar seal number 0. Solar is galactic tone number 9. So the postulate is 0.9.

    You get the gist, right?

I’m wishing you all the best for these 260 days. I hope this galactic gestation births new light and joy into your life.

Time’s art

January 26, 2018 by jacob

Energy factored by time equals art. Such is Jose Arguelles‘ formulation of the Law of Time, also written as T(E)=Art. “Time is Art!”

Obviously this is in stark contrast to the popular notion “time is money.” And for some, the rally cry “Time is Art” simply becomes an excuse or validation for resentment towards money. But the vision of “Time is Art” represents something far deeper than something like eschewing money.

Energy factored by time equals art, as a fundamental cosmic principle, implies the universe itself is a work of art. And that includes you, right down to your perfectly formed eyeballs which now read these words (or, perfectly formed eardrums listening to your screen reader).

When you zoom out far enough, this is obvious. The spiraling galaxies profoundly elegant in their turning. Zoom in a little closer and it is still stunning: Our solar system, concentric rings of harmonic balance. Zoom in further still and you see the staggeringly beautiful planet which is our collective home. A beautiful blue gem, filled with entrancingly precious forms of life and energy. Zooming in to microscopic levels you again encounter limitless order and beauty.

How could we not conclude that this elegance is both the means and ends of the universe in its myriad expressions? Elegance itself drives everything onward.

At the zoom level of our day to day life, the notion TIME IS ART might seem like a luxurious, idealistic or utopian affirmation. Words that make you feel good, but without inherent power to direct the will.

Well, if “Time is Art”, then synchronicity is the medium of “Time Art”. Through synchronicity the colors, forms, harmonies, aromas and even flavors of Time make themselves known. Again, zooming out to the highest known levels of the cosmos, Time as art is more clearly seen. The universal order awes us with its beauty. Everything, every last chemical reaction happening in precisely the right place at precisely the right time to create and sustain all that is.

Yet, on Earth, with a crooked standard of time measurement (i.e. the Gregorian calendar), synchronicity becomes a novelty – a fleeting occurrence, an electrifying jolt which shocks us awake from the daily grind. With every passing synchronicity (often dismissed as coincidence), for a brief moment we feel a sparklingly vivid sense of connection to everything.

But from the perspective of the Law of Time, synchronicity is the universal norm. Mechanical and crooked time standards (which, ahem, we have created) have simply veiled us from this fact. Imagine if you began to make a painting, but every time you moved your brush toward your paints, they would disappear. This is like artificial time disrupting our sense of synchronicity.

Or if you went to see a band you’ve always wanted to see perform live, but as soon as they step out onto stage, the sound system blew up. The artists are there, the spirit of there art is there but something external prevented it from being shared…

The artist uplifts, ennobles and evolves a culture. Art articulates truths from the deeper realms of the consciousness of the culture from which it arises.

Concurrently, Time’s Art is communicating something to us (and to all points of consciousness throughout the multiverse) from the deeper realms of the multidimensional cosmos of which we are each a part. To better receive this transmission we need only change our relationship to Time and cultivate our sense of synchronicity.

The 13 Moon Calendar, as an elegantly consistent framework for relating to Time allows us to continually perceive synchronicity and be inspired and motivated by Time’s Art. Like seeing a new color, the normalization of synchronicity allows a direct perception and experience of TIME IS ART: energy factored by time equals art.

Anchors in Time

January 13, 2018 by jacob

With a little imagination you can use the 13 Moon Calendar to enter a realm of ever-evocative mystery and magic; a world with hidden doors and pathways (of thought, feeling, experience and perception). It provides a practically infinite array of frames of reference that can be combined and connected in a multitude of novel ways.

The more you know about the daily codes, the more these patterns multiply and deepen, the greater the potential of discovering connection and synchronicity where it perhaps seemed there was none. Is this a process of creating synchronicity or discovering it? It’s hard to tell. I guess I’d say it is almost equal parts creation and discovery.

Whatever the case, every connection or pattern discovered can become an Anchor in Time for you. Like the telepathic version of geocaching – planting and unearthing your Anchors in Time will lead you on an internal journey of self-discovery and realization.

Here are seven ways to find your Anchors in Time:

1. Your galactic signature

This is the first step, the baby step. Once you know your galactic signature you can begin to feel connections to certain days of the 13 Moon Calendar.

For example, if you are a Blue Galactic Monkey, every Blue day (every 4 days) you may feel a little spark of recognition: “Today’s the same color as my signature!” Every “galactic” tone (every 13 days) day you’ll get another little jolt: “Hey! It’s a galactic day. I’m galactic too!”. And of course, every Blue Monkey day (every 20 days) you might feel a little spring in your step knowing that it’s a Monkey day, just like you!

But then, when it’s Blue Galactic Monkey day, and all those cycles come together to be YOUR EXACT galactic signature (every 260 days) – well, you’ll have to follow the 13 Moon Calendar and see how it feels for you 😎

This alone is enough to get you feeling the galactic beam for which the 13 Moon Calendar is like a navigational compass. But we’re not stopping there! Next:

2. Signatures of people who are important to you

Soon you’ll start decoding more people in your life. Then all of the above recognitions will then be activated for all the people you decoded. Hey! Today is White Wind, my neighbor is White Wind! Oh look, White Wind is always 11 days after Monkey, so it’s my Monkey day and then 11 days later is my White Wind neighbor’s day! And on and on it goes.

You will undoubtedly also discover overlaps between you and the people you decode: same colors, same tones, same solar seals – maybe even same galactic signature! This further opens your now budding telepathic synchronicity antennae…

3. Signatures of events which are meaningful to you

Same as above, except you decode important or meaningful dates to you. Soon the anniversaries will come back around. “Wow! Today I went to the park where I once had an unforgettable day with a soulmate, and today’s signature is the same as it was that day!” Next thing you know you’re diving deep into the magic of that moment.

4. Numbers which are special to you

If you’re like me and love numbers more than just about anything, you’ll be glad to know that every day in the 13 Moon Calendar is a chorus of talking numbers. Every signature has several numbers: galactic tone (1-13), solar seal (1-20), galactic signature (1-260), day of the Moon (1-28), Moon of the Year? (1-13).

Or if you don’t like numbers you’ll soon cultivate a new relationship to them, as you begin to perceive the meaning or feeling of the numbers.

5. Words which strongly relate to you or something in your life

The 13 Moon Calendar brings together the power of color, number and word. For instance, Blue Galactic Monkey, after you’ve been acclimated to the 13 Moon Calendar for a while, means so much more than “Blue Galactic Monkey”.

Once you’ve memorized the basics you will know automatically that:

“Blue” is also coded by the words: Transform, patience, and the direction west.
“Galactic” is coded by: Harmonize, model, integrity.
“Monkey” is coded by: Play, magic, illusion.

From just the galactic signature you have nine words of power working together to create a magic spell that is like a tool that you can use as you wish…

6. Figure out your Earth Family – it’s easy!

Every galactic signature belongs to one of five Earth Families. Once you know yours, figure out the Earth Family of the people in your life, of important events, etc. and you have yet another unfolding of the petals of your synchronicity antenna flower…

This diagram rewards careful study. Try not get too hung up on the question “What does that mean?” but rather encode (memorize) the key words. As you follow the 13 Moon Calendar every day, while decoding people and events, by knowing the Earth Families you have yet another tool to experience more connections.

Combine this with the words of power of every code and you have a vast weaving of messages or magic spells at your disposal: To wield with your perceptions to affect your own evolution.

7. Exponentially multiplying your Anchors in Time

Learn the fifth force oracle. It isn’t difficult, it just takes careful study of the diagrams which show you how every solar seal (and galactic signature) has a supporting, guiding, challenging/strengthening and hidden power! Can you see now how you can then apply this to everything else you’ve already been learning?

Learning just the few things in this article you will exponentially expand the array of 13 Moon Calendar tools at your disposal to explore, reflect upon and be inspired by.

Each new facet of the 13 Moon Calendar you can learn and stay conscious of each day contributes cumulatively to every other facet you’ve learned before. The intricacy of your kaleidoscope is fully up to you. Ultimately the 13 Moon Calendar cultivates radial consciousness (all directions simultaneously as opposed to binary: yes/no, up/down).

So begin to learn what you can. Track what you can each day. Once you get comfortable with that, seek out and learn another facet of the knowledge. There are a ton of free resources at the Foundation for the Law of Time’s website. Or if you like more hands-on learning, check out my self-paced video course.

Annual cycles

December 31, 2017 by jacob

Happy Gregorian New Year! (or New Year’s eve for those of us west of the international date line)

It’s unclear exactly why this date became the annual marker. Is it because Sirius reaches the meridian in the sky at midnight around this time? Is Earth really at its perihelion at this time? Or, being that it is the calendar established by the Vatican, could it be because it would mark 8 completed days from Christ’s birthday – the day in which he would’ve been circumcised?

In any case, if you’re getting this newsletter then you already know: There’s a better way! Get a 13 Moon Calendar 😇

Here’s a fun exercise: Locating annual “holidays” in the 13 Moon Calendar. Each day of the year will always be one of four solar seals. Take a peek at a bunch of examples:

  • 1 Jan – “New Year’s Day” – Red Skywalker, White Mirror, Blue Night or Yellow Star
  • 20 Jan – “Inauguration Day” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human
  • 2 Feb – “Groundhog Day” – Red Serpent, White Dog, Blue Eagle or Yellow Sun
  • 14 Feb – “Valentine’s Day” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human
  • 17 Mar – “St. Patrick’s Day” – Red Skywalker, White Mirror, Blue Night or Yellow Star
  • 5 May – “Cinco de Mayo” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human
  • 6 Jun – “D-Day” – Red Moon, White Wizard, Blue Storm or Yellow Seed
  • 11 Jun – “Kamehameha Day” – Red Moon, White Wizard, Blue Storm or Yellow Seed
  • 19 Jun – “Juneteenth” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human
  • 4 Jul – “Independence Day” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human
  • 7 Aug – “Purple Heart Day” – Red Dragon, White Worldbridger, Blue Monkey or Yellow Warrior
  • 19 Aug – “National Aviation Day” – Red Skywalker, White Mirror, Blue Night or Yellow Star
  • 26 Aug – “Women’s Equality Day” – Red Serpent, White Dog, Blue Eagle or Yellow Sun
  • 11 Sep – “Patriot Day” – Red Dragon, White Worldbridger, Blue Monkey or Yellow Warrior
  • 31 Oct – “Halloween” – Red Dragon, White Worldbridger, Blue Monkey or Yellow Warrior
  • 25 Dec – “Christmas” – Red Dragon, White Worldbridger, Blue Monkey or Yellow Warrior
  • 31 Dec – “New Year’s Eve” – Red Earth, White Wind, Blue Hand or Yellow Human

Obviously, many of these are just holidays in the United States. So I would encourage you to find the annual holidays in your country.

Pro tip: Don’t bother doing this for holidays that are a specific day of the week in the month – like the 3rd Saturday in September or whatever. The Gregorian calendar is crooked, so those holidays always float – they’re always different days of the month. Instead, locate holidays that are always the same day of the same month, every year.

Once you’ve made this list, it is easy to find the four solar seals that code each day. First, download the free 13 Moon pocket calendar from the Foundation for the Law of Time. Find the date you seek and take note of which solar seal that day is. Next, find that seal in the chart below: The horizontal row that day is located in shows you the four solar seals that the holiday will always be coded by.

graphic courtesy of www.lawoftime.org

For example, find January 1, New Year’s day. You’ll see it is coded by the Blue Night solar seal. Find the Blue Night in the diagram above and you see it is in the same row with the Yellow Star, Red Skywalker and White Mirror. New Year’s day will always be one of those four seals.

As you can see from the diagram, these sets of four are called “Earth Families” – each with their own unique characteristic. Going back to our example: January 1, New Year’s Day is always coded by the “Signal Earth Family” – with the code Unravel the mystery…

It’s also fun that “Halloween” is always a Red Dragon, White Worldbridger (“death”), Blue Monkey (“play”) or Yellow Warrior (“fearlessness”).

Maybe you’re beginning to see the fun you can have looking at this.

Another one of my favorite examples is “Valentine’s Day” – always February 14 (2/14), which is always Galactic Moon 8 (8.8) on the 13 Moon Calendar. Well, it’s always coded by the “Core Earth Family” which corresponds to the Heart chakra. 💘

This is a small example of how the synchronic order – or matrix of synchronicity – has always been informing third-dimensional phenomena whether we knew it or not.

And for any other numberphiles out there, check this out:

February 14 (2/14) = Galactic Moon 8 (8.8)

2 + 14 = 8 + 8 = 16 = 4×4. How many chambers does the human heart have? 😉

So make your own list of anniversaries or annual holidays. It doesn’t even have to be “holidays” per se, maybe it is just a day that is special to you. Find the Earth Family Codes for those days to deepen your multidimensional perspective of them. See what you notice and feel.

Peace

December 18, 2017 by jacob

Recently I had a dream in which I was writing an article or book or something. It had lots of numbers in it and I was just thoroughly enjoying the process of writing it all down. In the dream a good friend of mine arrived and started asking with great firmness: “But what about peace? Why aren’t you writing about peace?! That’s like the most important thing about all this!” She was very stern in saying this to me. But the feeling I had in the dream was not as if I was being chastised, but rather encouraged or energized.

Well anyway I’m going to write a bit about peace now. This would be the first time I’ve ever decided to sit down and write something like this in response to a dream character’s petition!

The 13 Moon Calendar, while also a key or doorway into multidimensional experience, is a standard of measure in harmony and synchronization with the natural timing frequency. The natural timing frequency is mathematically expressed as the ratio 13:20. Everything* in the universe is in alignment, synchronization or resonance with the 13:20 frequency of natural time.

*However, the human species is an exception to this rule. Through ingenuity and free will we have unwittingly created an artificial timing frequency on Earth (and beyond, as our technology reaches further and further beyond the bounds of our planet). This artificial timing frequency which we have yoked ourselves to, is a mentally perceived phenomenon, exemplified by the pernicious sensation that there’s never enough time.

The artificial timing frequency is the love-child of the inexorably mechanistic clock and the crooked 12-month world “standard” calendar. “Standard” in quotes because it is hardly standard, even by its own standards, with its reliably confusing array of out of sync months and weeks.

While the natural timing frequency infuses the infinitely vast multidimensional universe with balance, harmony, order (even if seemingly chaotic!), coherence – the artificial timing frequency conjures up the notion of linear time, which drives a civilization mad. On and on we dash down the line of time that exists only in our minds, and to what end?

I think our society is run by insane people, for insane objectives. I think we’re being run by maniacs for maniacal ends. If anybody can put on paper what our government, the American government, etcetera, and the Russian, Chinese – what they are actually trying to do, and what they think they’re doing; I’d be very pleased to know what they think they’re doing. I think they’re all insane. But I’m liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That’s what’s insane about it. -John Lennon

After having utilized the 13 Moon Calendar, reincorporating the natural timing frequency into my own life for more than 15 years as of the time of this writing I am now totally convinced that our society is truly under a spell.

Our will has been hijacked by artificial time, our most primal creation. And this is why it is so impossible to even conceive of the idea that we could just S.T.O.P… Reassess: What in the world are we doing? Get back down to basics, and move forward as a mutually supportive species, working again in harmony with nature.

The natural timing frequency is humming right along, even now as you read this. Even as you drive to your job. Even as you sit in front of your computer, or stand in the assembly line, or your hands in the dirt of your garden, your hands on the levers of an excavator. The natural timing frequency lives on within you, with every beat of your heart, with every fire of your synapses.

Nature is peace. The entire universe is peace. You don’t see Jupiter throwing a hissy fit because a few comets flew into her orb. You’ll never hear the Sun moaning its woes of “doing all the work” of ensuring that life goes on in our solar system. You don’t see wild animals developing irrational neuroses, nor will you ever see a tree complain about the wind taking its leaves.

No, reality is much simpler than that. It is filled with beauty that ever beckons us to remember that we are also a part of its universal peace.

Much more than just “changing your calendar”, utilizing the 13 Moon Calendar is actually a way to stop the tape loop, jolt yourself out of your conditioned context and create enough receptivity to let in the larger reality, which is universal peace.

The holy day

December 5, 2017 by jacob

Here we go again folks. Time to rev up for the annual program of the “holiday season”, with all its familiar sights, sounds and… SONGS! I kid you not, on the morning of starting this article (Blue Resonant Night, Self-Existing Moon 16 – a.k.a. November 2) we didn’t even get past breakfast without an array of Christmas songs dinning through the amphitheater of our minds. 🎶 It’s the turk- turkiest seaaason of all! 🎶

Every year the same melodies echo through countless speaker systems and reverberate through the heads of millions, if not billions, of people. The familiar decorations dusted off and re-hung once again on just about every city street. How odd that this annual rite invokes behaviors ranging from sacramental solemnity to bombastic bacchanalia…

Please don’t take my cavalier tone as scorn or disrespect for traditions that may be very meaningful to you. I aim simply to make conscious the unconscious. We also decorate our home with a Christmas tree each year, and our son’s look of wonder at the lights and colors are all the excuse I need to do it.

Of course, people of Christian faith observe this time to celebrate the birth of their Savior: Jesus Christ. But what many people don’t know, is the modern form of “Christmas” is like a Santa-faced Frankenstein, an amalgam of symbols and myths from many different cultures. Which isn’t exactly a problem in and of itself, but the key is to be conscious of why we observe and participate in such a thing.

If there is a deeper meaning as to why you are observing a cyclic ritual, it can be profoundly rejuvenating and inspiring – sharpening your focus once again to better see your vision for your life. But through over-commercialization, traditions such as Christmas, become inauthentically ubiquitous: virtually every business taking advantage of the occasion for yet another sale.

And so, the mythos of commercialized traditions end up bombarding everybody, even those for whom the ritual may not hold much deeper meaning. For many people holidays of any kind just mean added stress and extra expense as the pressure to “buy gifts” (the bottom line of any holiday advertising) overwhelms the collective psyche.

In any case, I personally prefer the simple day-to-day reality, and the treasures of each passing day to “big deal” holidays. I try to remember Christ’s wise and instructive teachings of love every day. So too do I try my best to bear in mind the guidance of the Buddha, the peace of the Qur’an, the transcendence of Krishna – and on and on.

As you probably know, the etymological root of the word holiday is holy day. Did you know the root of the word holy is whole? Well, how can we be whole unless ALL THE DAYS are holy days?

In our nascent planetary culture, I think there is far too much emphasis placed on specific “holidays” and not enough on every holy day. Maybe this is just a symptom of the fact that the vast majority of each person’s time is spent on the job (or preparing for a job/school), earning credits or money for survival and profits for their companies.

Oftentimes this pursuit is simply for the sake of profits alone, or gross domestic product. Sure, jobs are created in the process, people make a living, take care of their families and life happens. All that is well and good. But what if the meaning of “job” changed?

The country Bhutan inspires me. Instead of gross domestic product, it aims for ever-increasing gross national happiness. Imagine going to work every day, knowing that the larger goal you are contributing to is the happiness of your nation. In such an economy, I bet each day feels a bit more like a holy day for everybody. Obviously this is just me guessing and imagining, as I don’t live in Bhutan. If you do, drop me a line and correct me if I’m wrong! 😇

The daily codes of the 13 Moon Calendar offer you an opportunity to experience each holy day with the whole of your multidimensional being – integrating your experience into a boundary-transcending frequency which connects you to everyone else doing the same.

What if we all decided to form a decentralized culture whose aim was gross planetary wholeness? Could we create our own economy? What could we accomplish? Maybe every day would once again feel like a holy day on the whole Earth…

Gobble, gobble 🤔

November 22, 2017 by jacob

As a citizen of the United States it’s hard not to feel the proverbial elephant in the room during the “Thanksgiving” season. This massive elephant tries to hide behind turkey decorations and pumpkin-spiced everything. I say tries. But everybody feels it.

It is a charged topic, creating yet another polarizing factor for Americans. Why do we observe this day in the way that we do, when we know the brutal facts of its history? Why should we change a long-standing tradition when it means so much to so many people now?

Well, the fact is – the history of this holiday is brutal. As a culture grows and matures, part of that maturation is coming to terms with the truth, including the ugly truths of its history. It doesn’t erase our history to reconsider how best to observe or memorialize it. Nor does it erase our history to learn from it.

The tragic story of the colonization of this land was swept under the rug and glossed over, rather irresponsibly. But this country is scarcely 200 years old, so it is only recently that the voices oppressed by this willful ignorance have begun to be heard and heeded.

The colonization of the Americas, and not only the United States, is a tragic folly of grand proportions. Rather than ignore the truth of our history we ought to examine it closely. Study it carefully. For it is only through understanding and completely bringing them to light that we can actually learn from mistakes made in the past.

How exactly was the conquest of the Americas executed?
What were the motivations of those who perpetrated this?
Did they feel that what they were doing was right? If so, why?
Who profited the most from the whole thing?

I don’t have answers to all of these questions. But have you heard of the Doctrine of Discovery?

Picture of the original Papal Bull "Doctrine of Discovery" 1493
Who wrote this thing?!

“The Doctrine of Discovery” of 1493 was an abomination of a document which claimed to grant unobstructed right to the Catholic conquistadores to disavow any non-Christian of their land. This religious document, issued by Pope Alexander VI, even became the basis for encouraging the further expansion of the United States.

It’s unbelievable that we give any credence to or excuse for this history. We know that this was a baseless action perpetrated in absolute contradiction to the most basic of human rights. So, why do we continue to uphold such a caricatured narrative of the truth? I mean, we have kids make cute art projects based on it – and from some perspective that’s not a little unsettling.

Following the enactment of the Doctrine of Discovery was the imposition of the Julian calendar upon those cultures who had been colonized (read: raped, pillaged and plundered). The word “calendar” comes from the latin calends, meaning “account book.” In other words: “Hi! You aren’t Christians. So, your land is now ours. Oh, and here’s our calendar so you know when to pay your taxes.”

Except for the slight modification of the calendar in 1582, this same calendar is still in use today! This ridiculous history has no good reason to be so tightly guarded. This is all just unconscious adherence to the status quo.

The Law of Time makes conscious what was unconscious. The 13 Moon Calendar attunes human consciousness to the Law of Time. And making conscious what was unconscious is the only way the human species can evolve any further.

I hope you’ll join me in bearing these things in mind. Not to foment conflict with your neighbor or family. But, to compassionately represent the truth and see if we can individually help our collective to learn a little bit more from its past.

Noospheric grass roots

November 9, 2017 by jacob

This era is unlike any other that has come before. In fact, at this stage of the game, as a nascent global culture, I think individual action to affirm our planetary nature is the most powerful way to change the world.

A little history: From 2000-2004 there was a Campaign for the New Time – a massive grassroots endeavor to outreach, promote, lobby and educate the world (and its governments) about the 13 Moon Calendar. This campaign was created by the visionary Jose Arguelles/Valum Votan and headed up by the Foundation for the Law of Time, and the Planet Art Network – World Thirteen Moon Calendar Change Peace Movement.

The goal of the Campaign for the New Time was the Great Calendar Change of 2004: When the governments of the world would finally grant its people a sane standard of measure – 13 Months of 28 days each, easy right? (Actually, in the 1930’s the League of Nations also planned to do this very thing as its first official act!)

A huge amount of work was accomplished, and even though there was no institutional global calendar change, millions of people saw the value of changing their time and began to use the 13 Moon Calendar on their own. This has even resulted in a lively and inspiring counter culture of artists, scientists, teachers and seekers – from every generation, race, culture and creed!

So when I say that individual transformation is the most powerful way to change the world, I say this with full respect for and not at all to dissuade those who work to continue the spirit of the Campaign for the New Time (Such as the great work at 13months28days.info). But if you resonate with creating a New Time, and socio-political activism is not your cup o’ tea (like me, too) then I want to affirm to you that your own inner transformation, and your expression of the love that is inside of you is essential to the transformation of the whole.

Actually, if you are an activist working “against” anything, I think it’s especially important to be actively expressing your love and doing the inner work. Why? So you can better focus on your envisioned goal and avoid the all-too-common activism pitfall of banging your head against the walls of your own unconscious projected onto your “adversary”.

For my part, I’m not the least bit interested in battling against entrenched and outworn zombie institutions, which (I feel) have no real power anyway. [Brrraaaiinnsss! Let me suck up all the energy in your brraaaaiins!] Quiet, zombie! Ahem…

I think each of us can, and should, take back our own power individually, in whatever way we can, to remember that our growth and evolution is not dependent upon such outmoded, styrofoam constructs. Changing your Time through the 13 Moon Calendar is one such way.

Even if institutions won’t scrap the ridiculous Gregorian Calendar and replace it with a sane standard of measure, YOU can still choose to create a New Time. I daresay, this act alone will chip away at artificial time with ever-growing momentum, and thereby strengthen the whole planet’s attunement to the natural timing frequency.

And it will spread organically. The transformation you experience from living a New Time will shine through in your authentic embodiment of it – and it’ll catch on to those other points of consciousness who are receptive. It can’t be forced.

In some way this is a new form of grassroots movement: Noospheric grassroots. Noosphere is the mind of the Earth, capacitated by the collective human mind. Noospheric grassroots grow behind the behind-the-scenes, in-between the cracks of the world of appearances. Resonance activism for the Secret Dreamers! 😎

Following the 13 Moon Calendar can sometimes feel like a lonely endeavor. But keep your antennae attuned to the delicate flickers of receptivity that come onto your radar. You’ll recognize the familiar face of fearless, vulnerable curiosity: signs that the wave is moving across the Earth…

Coming to your hometown: Through YOU

Hang 20 🌊

October 27, 2017 by jacob

Entering the New Time is a revolution that isn’t broadcast through “the Internets”. It doesn’t have a marketing team behind it, using psychologically-clinically-statistically-proven methods to convince you that it’s a worthwhile endeavor. There aren’t quarterly reports, seasonal sales, or two-hour long product pitches with face-recognition-enabled chicken-head emojis…

No: Entering a New Time is a revolution of consciousness. Initiating yourself into the 13 Moon Calendar enters you into an unfolding mystery that deepens in proportion to the depth of your self-reflection and engagement with it. Ultimately, it’s a re-integration of the human being with its infinitely multidimensional nature.

You can’t really televise that, nor really promulgate it through any of the means that typical products or fads are mega-blasted to the masses. Fact is, most folks may not be ready to include such a weird, radical and seemingly foreign thing into their lives. Nah, they’re full-up! Work, family, politics, drama, whatever. Life has a way of filling up any spare moment we don’t consciously schedule! So, in the relentless torrent of the day-to-day, using a new calendar may seem like a luxury for the listless.

Well, I’m going to share a magic spell with you: The more you do, the more you CAN do. My dear friend, Stephanie South, taught me this magic spell. This may seem counter-intuitive, because there’s only so much “time” in the day, right? Ah ha! But there’s the rub! We’re upgrading our Time folks!

Time is not linear, constrained or quantity. The human being is capable of hyperspeed in hypertime, and timelessness for that matter. The act of creation is a never-expiring invitation to surf an ocean of infinite swells. If you’d like to learn a whole bunch of ways to hang 20 (fingers + toes!) on the Time waves, check out my course.

But the way is very simple: All you need to do is see, think, persist and be patient.

See: The patterns in the codes of the calendar. If you set out to do this with the intention to live multidimensional Time, then you can’t go wrong. Whatever jumps out to you, take note of it.

Nothing is too simple to be transformed into a potent and meaningful anchor in Time. It can be a color. It can be as simple as one number being next to another one within the tzolkin. It can be a shape you notice or a line connecting two points. It can be a pattern of words. Like if you live on Sunshine Parkway and it’s a Yellow Sun day, or a Solar tone day, or even a Yellow Solar Sun!

Think: Of what you can do with what you notice. Think of areas of your life – interests, hobbies, events, memories, locations – and how you can connect them to the patterns and codes that you see.

Persist: At first you’ll undoubtedly wonder “What’s the point?” or “Is this really making a difference  in my, or anybody’s, life?” or “Am I really evolving my experience into a multidimensional wonderland?” But if you sincerely and earnestly stick with it, you will see results – always in proportion to effort you put into it.

Be patient: You are re-wiring a fundamental assumption or paradigm: The fallacy that Time is linear, quantitative and wholly objective. The more patient you are with yourself in this process the better. If you’re rushing toward some idea of a goal, you’ll miss what’s happening right now.

So what do you see?
What does it cause you to think?
What helps you to persist?
How do you remember to be patient?

I’d love to know 😊

Cognitive dissonance

October 14, 2017 by jacob

I consider myself a pretty empathic person. When I see someone suffering, it bothers me – a lot. And lately, it sure feels like the proverbial shit is really hitting the fan. Do you feel it too?

I won’t bother listing the headlines, you’ve seen them all. And I know some of you reading this have even experienced some of these events first hand!

But I think it’s important to bring to mind the fact that vastly more information is being broadcast to everybody on a daily basis than ever before in history. So even if we’re not yet collaborating as a global collective, we are undoubtedly collectively affected by the awareness of a whole lot of suffering.

Problem is: Even though these tragic events certainly invoke in us a profound impulse to make things right, the force or inertia of “business as usual” soon pulls us back into its current. Your compassionate impulse, of practical necessity, never truly satisfied or expressed. I believe this creates a very real psychic-emotional frustration, resulting in a kind of collective cognitive dissonance.

cognitive dissonance (noun, psychology) – the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.

Cognitive dissonance thrives in a field of moment to moment (fleeting) consciousness, distracted by the business-as-usual imperative. Within this context, daily use of the 13 Moon Calendar cultivates (sustainable) continuing consciousness, which diminishes cognitive dissonance.

With continuing consciousness, behavior is motivated from a place of whole systems thinking, including the fluctuations, in time, of that system.

Taking a deliberate approach to your relationship with Time is a key aide in developing continuing consciousness. Like physical therapy to strengthen an atrophied muscle: At first it seems like nothing is happening, but through persistence your arm begins to work again or you can walk more normally until you’re up and running!

So too is the “Time-therapy” offered by the 13 Moon Calendar. After a while of sincerely utilizing it as a daily timekeeping tool, continuing consciousness begins to awaken. How? All its cycles are internally consistent and mathematically coherent, providing a reliable rhythm or pattern which becomes an enduring and stable foundation for your mind and perceptions.

You will more easily remember things from 7, 13, 20, 28, 91, even 260 days ago! And more importantly you should also begin to more clearly perceive some of your own unconscious internal workings, and perhaps even gain a new perspective on the unconscious patterns that play out on the world stage.

Furthermore, since the characteristics of the 13 Moon Calendar are culturally neutral or unmarked by history you also develop an unconditioned (outside-of-the-fishbowl) frame of reference.

You will not only be impervious to the spell of “Monday” – but you will have the opportunity to deliberately experience a “Yellow Magnetic Seed” day, or a “Red Lunar Serpent” day, or a 7-day “Yellow week of ripening” or a 28-day “Moon of Form”. And this draws forth a kind of compassion for how the unconscious programs, such as “the Monday blues” for example, affect us all.

AND (bonus!) the codes and patterns in the 13 Moon Calendar are not arbitrary. They approximate and communicate the structure, flow, rhythm, essence of the vast multidimensional reality with which we are generally out of touch.

This is why I promote the 13 Moons. Not to help you rationalize ending a relationship, or to decide when to cut your hair – nah, this would be like showing you how to use a kitchen knife as a mirror just because it provides some semblance of a reflection. No, I take the time to write articles like this and teach about the 13 Moon Calendar to hopefully assist YOU to cultivate continuing consciousness.

Because I believe when we work on this collectively it creates some ventilation, releasing the pressure caused by collective cognitive dissonance (which, sadly, explodes in exceedingly violent ways more frequently each year).

So instead of, again and again, acquiescing to the stifling deception that we are helpless, with an expanded awareness may we be better equipped to confront the challenges before us, individually and collectively.

But, what about everybody else?

October 1, 2017 by jacob

Okay! So we’re cruising along following the signs, synchronicities and mysteries of the 13 Moon Calendar… But what about the rest of the world?

As I’ve said, following the 13 Moon Calendar is largely a personal and internal exploration to evolve your own perceptions. However, another purpose of this is to create a new, liberated world, one person at a time, right? I’d love to tell my coworkers and neighbors, “I’ll see you next Seli!” or “Happy Magnetic Monkey day! Ready to play?!” But, obviously most people around me are using the mechanical clock and the 12-month Gregblobian calendar.

I’ve spoken to countless people who all say “There’s no one here to do this with!” Indeed, you are fortunate if you have some friends to surf the waves of the synchronometer with – let alone a whole community synchronized to it! The synchronic order of the 13 Moon Calendar spreads organically – so you gotta be the one to bring it out to others around you. Heck, I don’t know your neighbors! (Wait a sec! You could tell them to sign up at newtimecourse.com 😸)

Anyway, I’m going to share a simple, practical application of the 13 Moon Calendar to directly interface with the rest of the world: Make a schedule! Yes, it’s that easy – and boring sounding… Maybe even a little tedious. This is even going to be a little tedious for me to write! But stay with me here! Once you’ve done this, you’ll be surfing a wave of synchronicity that you called forth!

(You can find the graphics and keywords referenced below in the “13 Moon Calendar Tutorial” on www.lawoftime.org)

The 13 Moon Calendar 7-day week (a.k.a. “Heptad”)

Every Moon (month) in the 13 Moon Calendar has 28 days, which is exactly 4 perfect 7-day weeks. Each day of the week has a particular quality: You can experiment with your schedule utilizing this, and have a direct way of bringing this calendar into your daily life, as well as a way to interface with others – whether they know it or not! For instance:

Every day of the week has a corresponding chakra, and a couple keywords. Now, some of the keywords are easier to get with than others. For instance Silio has “Discharge” as a keyword – which may be a little tricky, but Silio is also in the HEART.

The thing to keep in mind: What do the keywords invoke in you? See if you can find ways to synchronize your existing habits, hobbies or interests with the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar!

Do something with the keywords that you can relate to. As you get more familiar and engaged in the calendar, you’ll be able to explore deeper – just start simple for now. So here are a few simple examples:

Day 1 “Dali” – Heat, Target, Crown chakra: Maybe on every other “Dali” day you organize a sweat lodge, or go with some friends to some mineral springs, or a sauna (Heat!). Or maybe you have water balloon fights (Target!). Or every “Dali” day you could practice doing headstands! (Crown!)

Whenever I am in a meeting taking notes, if something comes up that requires me to take action, I draw a little “Dali” symbol – signaling that “Target” keyword in my subconscious mind. 😎

Day 3 “Gamma” – Light-Heat, Pacify, Third Eye chakra: Make a campfire (Light and heat!). Pacify: Make it a point to try and talk to somebody that usually triggers you and pacify yourself to stay harmonious and peaceful. 😇

Day 5 “Alpha” – Release, Throat chakra: Get together with friends to get rid of extra, superfluous STUFF you don’t need, ahh the sweet release of simplification! Throat? Sing! Tell jokes!

Day 6 “Limi” – Purify, Solar Plexus chakra: Detox day. Fasting day. Purify! Solar Plexus: Core strengthening exercises like Tai Chi, Pilates, etc. – or maybe you want to try some dimensional traveling through your fourth-dimensional umbilical cord (called kuxan suum by the Maya) that connects you to the center of the galaxy! (See: Cosmic History Chronicles)

The 13-day Wavespell Cycle

This is a juicy one! I love using the 13-day cycle. The great thing about this cycle is that it is one day less than two weeks. So, if you plan anything on a specific day of the 13-day cycle, it will float through the week each time. This is a great way to surprise your friends, associates, colleagues, family – since it’ll jolt them (and you) out of the typical weekly cycle.

You may also notice that different people will be available or feel different on different days of the week. You get to disconnect a little from that work-week hamster wheel – granting you an “outside of the fishbowl” insight into the fluctuations of that cycle.

Some off-the-cuff ideas: On “Lunar” days to go out and Moon gaze with friends. On “Electric” days bust out your Casio keyboards and jam together! On “Rhythmic” days have a drum circle – or Tango Classes! 💃. On “Crystal” days, give a crystal to one of your friends or neighbors. Crystal day is also a day to gather and meet (coded by “Cooperation”), so if you have a master-mind group or project support group, try meeting on those days.

If you want to play with more advanced application of this, use the keywords of each of the 13 days to establish a program. (For instance, Magnetic days: Unify, attract, purpose. Lunar days: Polarize, stabilize, challenge. Electric days: Activate, bond, service. And so on…)

20-day Cycle! Red Dragon to Yellow Sun

This one is fun too, because it really disconnects you from the typical cycles. The 20-day cycle jumps around in relation to the 7-day cycle, and the 13-day cycle, and even more so in relation to the stupid 12-month calendar. (I don’t usually like to name-call: But it is stupid!)

Refer to that tutorial page for all the keywords of the 7-days of the week, the 13 tones of the wavespell, and of the 20 Solar Seals.

Begin by scheduling just one regular activity somewhere within the 7-day, 13-day and 20-day cycles. Start simple so that it is easy to build momentum. The less you start with, the easier it will be to perceive the shifts in your consciousness and in the world around you. Once you’re in an easy flow, then add more to your Synchronic Schedule!

BONUS: If you have one activity scheduled in each of those three cycles, you’ll also learn how those cycles synchronize together – because you’ll see when your activities on the different cycles fall on the same day!

Give it a shot!

And I’d love to hear what you come up with!

Stream of consciousness 🏄

September 18, 2017 by jacob

“You never come to the same river twice.” What does it mean? From it I used to simply hear that change is constant. But now it sounds more like this: The force and source of all creation is the consummate artist, bringing forth miracle after miracle with less than effortlessness, yet evidently deliberate and with supreme diligence.

Effortlessly as well She brings forth a creation who can echo the experience of creation itself back to Her. A creature who can self-reflect and express uniquely through its channel. Yes, the presence of that Unnameable Force abides within each and every infinitesimal speck in a vast, infinite universe. Because it can recognize this, the human being (consciously or not) humbly yet audaciously aspires to emulate its Creator.

Some channels are more conscious of this than others, but it would seem that, ultimately, the act of creation – accomplishment, success, fulfillment, realization – …is it really anything other than striving to be like That Mystery from which all things arose and arise?

I think not. And if we can learn something, anything, of the mystery behind God’s supreme creativity then let us treasure it. In other words, if there are ways of learning to do what the universe does, would we not want to explore it?

So whenever I am asked “how has the 13 Moon Calendar changed your life?” I can scarcely give a definite answer, because its consciousness-transforming effects are ongoing and widespread. However, I can say this:

The universal intelligence behind creation has an order, no, beauty that we can only ever come minutely closer to justly appreciating (or even perceiving!) as we shed away any preconceptions we may have about anything. Paradoxically, to do this requires intentional and structured consistency in the uncontrived. The 13 Moon calendar – though outwardly stylized and idiosyncratic – being fundamentally based upon time, space, mind and number is in essence a system of identitylessness.

But can’t this shedding of preconceptions simply be accomplished through meditation? After all: “Unidentified with anything I am identified with all.” A short answer: Our sense of Time – fundamental to our existence – is thoroughly entangled in artificial time through an inexorably irrational duo of measure: tick-tock clock and 12 month nonsense calendar. Hence, the elegant simplicity of the 13 Moon Calendar as a (if not the) means of untangling that knot called artificial time.

Every step of the way the cycles and synchronicities of this “calendar” inevitably lift one above their immediate context toward ever higher (or deeper) vistas of understanding and experience. This process has a direct effect on the brain through time. I believe this effect on the brain is nothing less than a process of returning it to its creative potential, unshackling it from limitations of conditioned thought. Rather, this effect on the brain is merely a reflection or condensation, a lower/third-dimensional registration of the continuous multidimensional liberation of consciousness to its natural, non-locatable, boundaryless state.

Why? How can this be so? Jose Arguelles (a.k.a. Valum Votan), responsible for the Discovery and exposition of the Law of Time and creation of the 13 Moon Calendar, said that we must think new thoughts if we are to rise above our planetary crisis.

The crisis is more than statistical red flags: as described in Cosmic History, it is a crisis of consciousness. Consciousness itself (throughout the universe probably but certainly on this planet at least), is rapidly mutating – violently writhing to be liberated from its self-imposed illusory limitations and rise to its potential which is now just beyond its grasp.

But: One can scarcely carry on a benign conversation with a stranger without stepping into a minefield of conditioned triggers. Furthermore, one can even scarcely set out to accomplish something that would transform this world without promptly colliding with its many boundaries.

In order to dissolve one’s confines, is it necessary to create from within them? Or can they simply be circumvented through fearless cultivation of the New?

Something that gets my goat 🐐

September 5, 2017 by jacob

Greetings, fellow explorer of the map of Time that we call the 13 Moon Calendar!

Have you ever bought a map? Like, have you traveled to someplace new and wanted to get a lay of the land? Maps are very useful, aren’t they? Filled with specific, reliable and relevant information! A map-maker doesn’t say: “You know what? This mountain would look better over here.” Or “I think it would be better if the highway curved this way” hacking up the map to his liking.

No, of course he doesn’t do that, because the purpose of the map is to help you navigate accurately. The 13 Moon (Dreamspell) Calendar is like this! It is a thoroughly integrated whole system cosmology of Time and synchronicity, including archetypal patterns and rhythms describing the evolution of life and consciousness, and more!

From Dragon (Birth) to Sun (Enlightenment) and back again… From Magnetic (Purpose) to Cosmic (Transcendence) and back again… This wasn’t just thrown together on a whim, or to fit into a pre-made box!

In principle, I’m thrilled when anybody creates anything to help educate their people about the 13 Moon Calendar. But, I get a little (okay, a lot!) irked when I see new students learn it only to decide they’re going to “fix it” and sell a distorted version to the world.

Of course, whenever you use a map you’ll probably find shortcuts or special spots you want to return to. You may even find something that wasn’t on the original map, like a hidden stream or a favorite tree, and mark them on your map. But in doing so, you would be careful not to change or obscure the landscape that the map is describing, right?

Well, making fundamental changes to the structure of the 13 Moon Calendar is like adding to a map water sources that don’t exist, or erasing ones that do! Even worse, if you sell this “improved” map, you may as well peddle a jacked-up GPS system that lands your customers in the middle of nowhere every time, far from their destination!

In terms of the 13 Moon Calendar as a tool for cultivating cosmic perceptions, teaching a radically distorted version of it will only confuse and hinder your students from finding its real value and reaching its true depths.

There is more to the 13 Moon Calendar than meets the eye. If you really want to get to the heart of it, to the juicy stuff, you need to utilize it as it is. This does require a little discipline of mind. In fact, Jose Arguelles strongly encouraged anyone following the 13 Moon Calendar to also practice meditation. Meditation will help you see (and appreciate!) things clearly, as they are.

All this might sound contradictory to my previous article in which I encourage new students to find their own meaning within the codes of the calendar. But… Utilizing the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar and applying them to your subjective experience is quite different than re-wiring the whole thing to your liking, and then positioning it as an authority which everybody else ought to follow (or pay for!).

The 13 Moon Calendar is very precisely formulated, and has so many facets to explore as it is! Tacking extras onto it would be like adding 12 verses to Bob Dylan’s “Everything is Broken”. Distorting it would be like declaring Beethoven’s “Ode To Joy” shouldn’t be in D minor! And teaching a twisted version is like a weight trainer telling her student to deadlift using only her lower back muscles! Her student is certainly not going to benefit, and may just give up…

So, let the 13 Moon Calendar inspire your creativity! But for the love of all things good and true, please don’t change it into something it isn’t! The system of the 13 Moon Calendar is whole and integrated. Distort a part of it and you’ll miss the bigger picture. To use a metaphor: A damaged seed will yield no fruit.

Develop your relationship to the 13 Moon Calendar like you would a person, where you accept it as it is. Relationships like that are usually more fulfilling anyway! 😘

Choose your own adventure

August 23, 2017 by jacob

Another one of the most frequently asked questions I hear about the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar is “What does it mean?”

My position on this is firmly rooted in the realm of YouDetermineTheMeaning: far, far away from the land of LetMeDefineYourExperienceForYou.

The 13 Moon Calendar is a tool. It is a system. It is a medium. It is a template. Sure, you could use this template to start a “13 Moon Calendar Reading” Service, telling people what meaning they should get from it. Many have done so! And with respect and love to them: My personal understanding is that the 13 Moon Calendar is a tool for collective evolution through personal empowerment. If we’re not growing and transforming ourselves as a result of applying it, we’re really missing the point.

You can definitely sign up for a reading and have an inspired experience. But I would encourage you to not just stop there: Dig in deeper to your own experience with it and you’ll get much more out of it!

For instance: I sign up for a rustic mountain retreat to learn meditation. I attend all the lectures, nodding sagely at the words of our teacher. I sit like a shining Buddha, in silent meditation with my fellow retreat-goers, a look of profoundly serene dignity on my face… But after the retreat, when I’m at home I don’t make the time to meditate. I just don’t do it.

Unfortunately, I’ve denied myself the fruits of my efforts. And now those fruits are just rotting away! Decomposing,.. and enriching the soil to once again, eventually, nourish the growth of yet another fruit. Hopefully next time (if I’m given a next time) I’ll devour it with gusto in its perfect ripeness!

The 13 Moon Calendar is similar in the sense that you have to use it every day, and work to understand it as it is, if you want to glean any sort of meaning (or value!) from it. You need to think about it, look at it, question it, study it. There must be at least a little exertion on your part to integrate it into your day-to-day.

So, if it is a Yellow Magnetic Human day which says “I unify in order to influence” there is not one single, correct and absolute answer to what that means. Each person is having a unique experience, in unique circumstances, with a unique perspective. The code “I unify in order to influence” is there for YOU to reflect upon in terms of what’s going on in YOUR life. This is how the 13 Moon Calendar is a tool for self-empowerment.

Start by learning the basics of the 13 Moon Calendar. Practice drawing all the symbols until you can draw them from memory, you can even start to find your own style in it, like when you learned to write! Memorize the key words for all the solar seals, galactic tones, etc. Then, after you’ve got the fundamentals down, you can start applying your own sensibility to it – like you would a musical instrument after learning to play all the scales!

When you determine the meaning in your life, it is an act of self-empowerment. The 13 Moon Calendar provides a method for amplifying your internal compass through a rhythm of coded cycles within cycles, offering a long-term self-reflective dialogue in an ever-expanding context.

Several years ago a deeply painful thing happened in my family. A dear friend of ours was consoling us and she gave us some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten for coping when things happen which you just can’t seem to understand. From her centenarian wisdom she told us that whatever we need to tell ourselves to feel at peace with it and get on with our lives: Go with that!

You can wring your brain out like a soggy wash-rag chasing questions like “Why did this happen? What does it mean?” Unless, that is, you give yourself the permission and power to determine the answer yourself.

Obviously this is not meant as a rally cry for us all to stay comfortable in our own assumptions, because if you’re even reading this you’re probably not the kind of person who just wants to be stagnant and never growing.

What I’m suggesting here is to abandon self-doubt and give yourself the permission to explore the rabbit hole as you will. You can use the codes of the 13 Moon Calendar as a map or guide. But there are many paths, doorways and roads, and I think if you explore them with your own internal compass you will discover a richer meaning in your journey.

Can I get on my high horse for a minute? 🐎

August 10, 2017 by jacob

Sometimes I can really get on my high-horse about USING the 13 Moon Calendar, about APPLYING it to your life if you really want to get to the heart of it.

I think a major reason for this is something I heard Jose Arguelles say during my work at the Foundation for the Law of Time. He said that the 13 Moon Calendar is a tool “for cultivating cosmic perceptions.”

A quick dictionary look-up for the word “cosmic” shows: 1. relating to the universe or cosmos, especially as distinct from the earth; and 2. Inconceivably vast.

I think it would be fair to accuse me of being a card-carrying utopian. I envision and dream of a world where we are all connected. Where everyone on Earth has all of their basic needs met so we can get on with evolving a global culture in perfect harmony.

Maybe I’m deluded, but I think the default setting for humans is Love, and the division and strife we see in the world is simply due to the inertia of “profane history” and conditioning which together serve only to pave over the rich soil of our essential nature: Love.

But what does this have to do with changing your calendar? Well, Time is fundamental. And I think if we fundamentally change the roots of our perceptions or at the very least make them more flexible, we’d be much more likely to generate real solutions to our problems, and break out of division into a more globally cooperative state. In other words: If Love is our default setting, all we have to do is chip away at the concrete of conditioning so that we can more easily connect to our true essence.

Furthermore, having cosmic perceptions implies our thinking and sensibilities “rise above” our immediate context to a sensibility more attuned to the whole planet (and perhaps, beyond). Such a sensibility allows for an increasingly objective consideration of the bigger picture, which therefore leads to more harmonious, even comradely and mirthful, interaction with your fellow human. After all, if your identity is planetary or galactic(!), how angry could you really get at your neighbor for thinking differently from you?

On the contrary! For me, since I think we humans are really one big planetary being, I’ve only become more and more curious about different points of view because it is the mind of every individual human as a collective whole that would represent the planetary self-reflective mind. Unfortunately, conditioning and information bombardment seem to condense inside our brains as little synaptic landmines that can cause us to react (often violently) to ideas or opinions that challenge our core beliefs. This is perfectly normal for a monkey brain fixated on survival, and actually a totally healthy function of the amygdala (playfully and poignantly discussed here).

But, my contention is that we are becoming a planetary culture, indeed a type of planetary being. We can evolve ourselves beyond the monkey-mind of survival because there really is no good reason why anyone on Earth should have to worry about survival by now! Or, if you like: Every single cause for any human being to be concerned with survival at this time in history, is completely within our abilities to change. But there is a lack of will. And I think that lack of will comes from dusty old perceptions that haven’t caught up to our exponential transformation of the last few hundred years, and so can’t perceive our planetary situation with clarity.

So I think it behooves us to do something to challenge our perceptions, to shake them up out of the cushy stupor of the familiar. The 13 Moon Calendar is one such method for doing this. Sincere practice of meditation can accomplish this as well.

I invite you to do a 28-day challenge to do something in your own life every day to short-circuit the familiar and see if you can discover a new perspective.

Do you want learn ways to use 13 Moon Calendar to do just that? The purpose of my self-paced video course, 13 Moon Calendar Essentials is to give you ways to APPLY what you are learning. Rather than just have you memorize a bunch of information, my goal is to give you things you can actually DO to use the 13 Moon Calendar to experience new perceptions directly.

The course is includes 13 video lessons (and counting!), access to a private community for students only, and life-time access (meaning you will get any and all new lessons I add from now until we become a planetary telepathic species with no use for the internet!) You can learn more about it here.

Colors talk

July 28, 2017 by jacob

Something I am always drawn to is how some of the most basic codes of the 13 Moon Calendar provide some Siriusly profound meditations on human existence. Just by looking closely at a selection of the 13 Moon Calendar’s patterns, and applying them self-reflectively, some interesting principles come to light!

One of my favorite examples of this is in the 13 Moon Calendar’s basic sequence of four colors: red, white, blue and yellow. Generally speaking this is a cycle of four days, such as Red Dragon, White Wind, Blue Night then Yellow Seed. It can also be seen as the four weeks of any 28-day Moon, Red Week (Days 1-7), White Week (Days 8-14), Blue Week (Days 15-21) and Yellow Week 4 (Days 22-28).

Each of the four colors themselves have unique attributes:

Red (East) Initiate – Knowledge
White (North) Refine – Humility
Blue (West) Transform – Patience
Yellow (South) Ripen – Power

The same four colors also have unique relationships to each other:

“Analog” (supporting) relationships:
Red + White;
Blue + Yellow

“Antipode” (challenge/strengthening) relationships:
Red + Blue;
White + Yellow

“Occult” (hidden/unexpected) relationships:
Red + Yellow ;
White + Blue

If simply we apply these relationships to some of the key words of the colors (such as Knowledge, Humility, Patience and Power) – some simple yet profound principles arise along with an elegant type of “galactic teaching.” Observe:

Support

  • Knowledge supports Humility
  • Humility supports Knowledge
  • Patience supports Power
  • Power supports Patience

Challenge/Strengthening

  • Knowledge challenges/strengthens Patience
  • Patience challenges/strengthens Knowledge
  • Humility challenges/strengthens Power
  • Power challenges/strengthens Humility

Unexpected/Hidden

  • Knowledge is hidden in Power
  • Power is hidden in Knowledge
  • Humility is hidden in Patience
  • Patience is hidden in Humility

This is just one example of how a few patterns of the 13 Moon Calendar can become a fascinating rabbit hole! For instance, you could apply this same logic to the other key words for the colors: initiating, refining, transforming, ripening… Such as, Initiating and Refining are mutually supportive. Refining and ripening are mutually challenging/strengthening… (Like, have you ever written an article and just can’t stop editing it? The article’s refinement is tugging in the opposite direction of its ripening!)

As you can see, and as with all facets of the 13 Moon Calendar, the rabbit hole is as deep as you want to go.

But the key here is this: Following the 13 Moon Calendar creates a weaving in time of opportunities to reflect upon these types of fundamental principles. For example, a slow-drip method of learning about knowledge, humility, patience and power! 😎

How? Well here’s a bit of homework if you’re so inspired:

Remember how I said that each week is coded by one of the four colors? And every daily galactic signature has one of the four colors? Well, you can utilize this to meditate upon the color of the day in relationship to the color of the week. For example, if it’s a Yellow day in the Red week it is a day of Power within a week of Knowledge. Or, if it’s a Red day in the Red week, you have a day of double Knowledge!

Experiment with this to see how it synchronizes with your own life.

13 Moon New Year! 🎆

July 15, 2017 by jacob

Have you ever seen those articles that aim to divine what the year is going to be about? Like “2015 is the Year of Pancakes!” or “Here comes 2016, the Year to Throw Away Old Clothes!”…

Personally, I tend to feel a little dubious about these kinds of broad sweeping predictions and always take them with a grain of salt. So I hope you’ll do the same with today’s article!

I’m not really in the habit of doing public “oracles” or “divinations” – partly because I don’t want to be responsible for any mis-interpretations I may have(!) and partly because I feel that divination is really an act of self-reflection. In other words, to me, anything that could even vaguely be described as divination is totally about self-empowerment.

But, I thought you may enjoy seeing an example of doing with this the 13 Moon Calendar. So, I’m going to take a stab at sharing my thoughts and reflections on this 13 Moon Calendar year – the Blue Spectral Storm Year (woah!) – and make a flailing attempt at peering “into the future” through reflecting on the codes for the upcoming Yellow Crystal Seed year.

If you’re not yet following a 13 Moon calendar, you may be wondering why I’m talking about a New Year. Well, get your 13 Moon calendar or download a free one compliments of the Foundation for the Law of Time   The 13 Moon new year is July 26 every year – so yeah, this is like a 13 Moon year in review and upcoming year pre-view!

Every year in the 13 Moon Calendar has a unique “code” which includes number, color and also archetypal key words and concepts.

For example, the current year is the Blue Spectral Storm year, with the code:

I dissolve in order to catalyze
Releasing energy
I seal the matrix of self-generation
With the spectral tone of liberation
I am guided by my own power doubled

Remember: This code pertains to the 13 Moon year, which spans from July 26, 2016 – July 25, 2017.

To explore this you might like to review events (personal or world) from that time-span through the lens of the above code, also called a synchronicity command. I’ll share with you an example of doing just this, by reviewing my Spectral Storm Year. (Note: The following is what this code says to ME, for me personally, from my own experience)

I dissolve in order to catalyze:
Pertaining to this very newsletter, and the 13 Moon video course that I finally made. This year I dissolved the sticky glue of inhibitions within me, in order to catalyze/kick-off something new, and therefore:

Releasing energy:
I released what was inside of me, knowledge and experience about the 13 Moon Calendar, in the form of a newsletter, and multiple courses.

I seal the matrix of self-generation
With the spectral tone of liberation:
These third and fourth lines of any code of any galactic signature tend to be the most mystifying. Suffice it to say that I established a system (matrix) for writing, refining and releasing my writings and videos (self-generation), and that was all flavored by liberation – which, for me, meant releasing myself from any petty perfectionisms that kept me from just GETTING IT OUT THERE. To this end I’ve embraced an oft-repeated phrase by entrepreneur Jason Zook: “Done is better than perfect.”

I am guided by my own power doubled:
In creating all this stuff I followed my own rules, and I found I had much more fun in the process as a result of that! Also, it took some persistent and ongoing internal self-encouragement to just get it going. It may sound cliche, but: Often the only thing in our way is our self.

PICTURE BREAK! Special thanks to Anita for sharing these awesome pics!

She says: Thought I’d share a photo of one of the things I do each morning… My girls love arranging them …. even in the process of removal/placement of the stones patterns appear. …the Skywalker wavespell on my mind so thought I’d make a lantern from a can 🙂

Welcome back! So we just finished an example of looking backward. Maybe it was selfish to write all that about my own stuff. But maybe reading it has given you some idea of how you could do the same for yourself! 😎

Now… I’ll take a dive into the upcoming year to see what I can glean. At this point I will say this is totally experimental. So if you’re not too interested in watching me fall in my face through words, then you can read an excellent view into the upcoming year here, by Stephanie South.

So, here goes!

The upcoming year is the Yellow Crystal Seed, with the following code:

I dedicate in order to target
Universalizing awareness
I seal the input of flowering
With the crystal tone of cooperation
I am guided by the power of intelligence
I am a galactic activation portal   enter me

I dedicate in order to target
I’m going to use dictionary definitions to explore the key words here…

Dedicate: devote (something) to a particular subject or purpose.
Target: select as an object of attention.

So, to me, this simply indicates a time of focusing on something specific.

Universalizing awareness
Universalize: bring into universal use; make available for all.
Awareness: knowledge or perception of a situation or fact.

A process of universalizing awareness might look like sweeping education or a collective realization about something.

Or, perhaps more personally, this may indicate shining light onto our own blind-spots to make our behavior more conscious (or less automatic).

I seal the input of flowering
With the crystal tone of cooperation
Again, these two lines are always a bit of a stretch (in a good way, like yoga!). Interestingly, in the typical diatonic scale (do, re, mi, etc) it is the third and fourth notes that introduce the first dissonance: A sound that just “feels wrong” (but in a good way,… like yoga! )

Seal: to assure, confirm, or bind with; authorize, endorse.
*Input: (noun) a place where energy or information enters a system.
*Input: (verb) to enter into a data processing system.
Flowering: to come out into full development; mature.
Cooperation: the process of working together to the same end.

*I’ve used electronics-related definitions for input here, because I think these work nicely for our own “systems” (brain, emotional, psyche, sensory, etc.)

Okay… So this is quite tricky! Some thing, or act of, coming into full maturity is confirmed, impressed (or flavored?) by working together to the same end. Seems very powerful in the sense of pointing toward a sort of widespread cooperation coming into maturity? Or perhaps in our own lives finding how we can cooperate with those around us to realize the highest or most matured expression of “our story”?

I am guided by the power of intelligence
Pretty self-explanatory…

I am a galactic activation portal   enter me

I told you I would be flailing here! Feel free to tell me what the code for Yellow Crystal Seed means TO YOU for the upcoming year

Planetary humanity

July 2, 2017 by jacob

“It’s just the way things are.” “Things have always been this way.”

I’m sure you’ve been told things like this before. As I’m sure your parents were, and their parents, and their parents’ parents, and their parents’ parents’ parents! Yet, it is said that people from every era believed theirs was a unique time in history: surely there was never an era that just felt like waiting at the bus stop of history.

Still, I would bet my music collection that a common belief in every era was that things would never change: the status quo would ever remain. Even now the idea “this is just how things are” is, for some, a tightly guarded dogma.

So, I’d like to go on a bit of a rant about how the times we live in right now are especially extraordinary. This is the only time in (recorded) history where:

  1. We’re everywhere! Humans have fully inhabited every inhabitable land on the Earth (even Antarctica, the least hospitable destination on Earth);
  2. We’re all in touch! Humans are almost constantly and instantaneously connected, globally, through the Internet – a kind of artificial global mind; and
  3. Change is constant and widespread… The entire global population is in the midst of an unprecedented exponential transformation!

Flying right into the face of the Things-Will-Never-Change-Dogma is this undeniable fact: the “way things are now” came about virtually overnight relative to human history – or in an instantaneous flash relative to the *13.7 billion year history of the universe! (*If you’d like to read a brilliant analysis of this process, see Book of the Avatar: Cosmic History Chronicles Volume II, by Jose Arguelles and Stephanie South.)

Homo sapiens first appeared about 200,000(!) years ago, and it was only about 5,500 years ago when (what we call) civilization began. For almost all of our history, human culture (and population) was very steadily and slowly growing, that is, until the Industrial Revolution, roughly 300 years ago. At this point, the exponential transformation of our planet started to really take off! To give some perspective: 300 years is just 5.4% of 5,500 years and only 0.15% of 200,000 years…

So… maybe the Things-Will-Never-Change-Dogma is so persistent because it has been around for at least 5,000 years (if not 200,000 years!). Maybe change was just so slow and steady as to be unnoticeable to contemporary humans of most eras? Whatever the case, when the Industrial Revolution came about human population hit an exponential growth curve. In scarcely 300 years we went from 1 billion to 7 billion humans! That’s a 700% growth in just 5.4% of the history human civilization, or 0.15% of the history of human life…

In that abrupt yet intense acceleration the human biomass became like the atmosphere or lithosphere: a new spherical layer of the Earth! Concurrently, the human mind extruded from itself a pseudo-global-mind: the cybersphere/internet, training wheels for a truly global consciousness (noosphere). This is a pretty rapid and radical mutation… And we’re still in the midst of it!

Now we have a global population presenting the early stages of an incipient, or nascent global culture. And here’s what fascinates me: Although our global culture is certainly in its infancy, it connects cultures all over the world that have been evolving for centuries, or even millennia…

And in spite of the seemingly pervasive chaos in the world, what I see in people is a naturally growing appreciation (miles beyond plain tolerance) for other cultures, and diverse ways of thinking and expression. So, I just can’t help but be comforted by the perception that we really are becoming a planetary humanity.

As a result of this, several entrenched modes of thinking, organization and governance no longer make sense. Our arbitrary national borders fail to impede ever growing numbers of entrepreneurs who conduct global business online. Artists can collaborate across the planet without even leaving their living room. Spiritual leaders from completely different cultures can more easily interface and deepen their understanding of each other. My ultra-optimistic list goes on and on!

Becoming a planetary culture creates new opportunities for connection, understanding and creation which are totally unprecedented. Case in point: July 25 is the Day Out of Time, the only “holiday” introduced by the 13 Moon Calendar. It’s a day for celebrating Time as Art, and planetary peace through culture and has been observed around the world since 1992.

I’ve attended (and even organized some) Day Out of Time celebrations every year since 2002. What I love most about it is that people from any culture can celebrate a day of peace through culture. And since the focus is on art, the events often become an exposition of many diverse cultures which together become a larger work of “Whole Earth Art”, in tribute to our truly planetary nature! Find (or create!) an event in your area!

Connect, people! 😇

June 19, 2017 by jacob

The 13 Moon Calendar is a whole system or method of understanding which can be used for any number of purposes.

One of my favorite uses of it is connection, or interconnectivity: Connecting people with each other; connecting everyone with the planet, solar system and galaxy. It can work as a tool to expand awareness and sensitivity to the truth of our larger context: we’re not just [Name] from [Place on Earth] – we exist in and are connected to a vast universe!

The premise behind the 13 Moon Calendar is that every single thing is intrinsically connected. This is because it proceeds from the perspective that Time is the universal factor of synchronization. What does that mean? Well, for one: this moment, right now, is the exact same moment as it is at Pluto, or even in a completely different solar system or galaxy. The present moment synchronizes us with our favorite crater on Pluto’s surface (or any other point in infinite space for that matter).

Not to confuse time and space: You may look at the night sky and see the light of a star that died ages ago, whose light is just now reaching our planet. This is what we see with our eyes from our planet right now, but it is still NOW both here (on Earth) and there (where that star used to be). If you were to instantly transport to that point in the galaxy where that star used to be, it is still “right now”.

This is an illustration of why one of the premises of the Law of Time is the velocity of time is instantaneously infinite. The present moment is the only medium in the universe that instantaneously connects everything: Everything that is exists in the present moment! (Perhaps even the past and future?)

From this perspective, everything is indeed connected: through the present moment. The 13 Moon Calendar is like a tool or machine that is powered by Time (a.k.a. the present moment) – instead of by kinetic energy, momentum or inertia for instance.

So, when the 13 Moon Calendar gives people a galactic signature it provides a fresh context and a highly subjective tool for finding instantaneous connections with one another. Each person understands their galactic signature in a unique way – and since the galactic signatures intrinsically interconnect in a vast multitude of ways, it provides a playground for novel points-of-view, thinking new thoughts and for connecting with one another.

Being mathematically based – in which everything has its number – the 13 Moon Calendar can be coded to different structures and systems. For example, the 13-unit wavespell can be used as a tool to interact in new ways with the 13-note chromatic scale.

One such mathematical coding in the 13 Moon Calendar is the 20-day cycle that is mapped onto the planet Earth in such a way that each of the 20 days codes “1/20th” of the planet. As shown in this diagram, which is called the “Planet Holon”. (Holon, simply put, means “body in time” – it is the physical body of planet Earth, with a cycle of time coded to it, 20 regions = 20 days).

By utilizing this map you have a tool for systematically cultivating and deepening your awareness and familiarity with the whole of the Earth (or by using the more detailed map from the third lesson of my free video class “7 Ways to Embody and Apply the 13 Moon Calendar“).

Ultimately this becomes an opportunity for expanding global awareness, or perhaps put more accurately: planetary consciousness – becoming conscious of the whole planet you happen to live on.

Maybe you’d like to do a 20-day experiment using the Planet Holon as a guide, starting today: a Blue Hand day – which codes much of the South Pacific Ocean, including the Hawaiian Islands. Maybe you can do some research about Hawaii and its geography, or history or culture or current events; Seek out some Hawaiian art, create an art piece inspired by Hawaii; or research the marine life in that part of the ocean – whatever inspires you.

Then tomorrow move on to the Yellow Star region, then the Red Moon region, and continue on until it is Blue Hand day again – make note of your experience. Will you begin to feel more connected to the whole planet?

World of symbols 💛

June 6, 2017 by jacob

The 13 Moon Calendar introduces a veritable universe of interlocking, interrelating symbols. So, having used the 13 Moon Calendar since 2002, I’ve been thinking about symbols for a long time.

Symbols run our world. Logos, political campaigns, icons, emojis are everywhere. The written word appears abstract next to all these symbols.

The tricky thing about symbols is they can be loaded with tons of information. If letters and numbers (and even words) are like 3.5″ floppy disks, then symbols are like 1GB flash drives. <Yes indeed. Expect many metaphors from here on out! … Let’s make a game of it: If you can count all the metaphors in this article, I’ll give you something special 😃>

Symbols have been used all throughout history as umbrellas to organize ideas, people and more. Symbols are POWERFUL!

A symbol that stimulates pride in one’s culture may also generate disdain toward another culture. Or, depending on what side of “history” you are on, a symbol that once invoked one feeling may now invoke another. And, like symbols themselves, their effects aren’t strictly “good” or “bad”.

Take for instance the Venezuelan flag. Ten years ago this may have invoked the thought of Hugo Chavez along with whatever thoughts you have about socialism. But now that the country is in the midst of a serious national crisis, it may invoke your feelings of altruistic solidarity with the Venezuelan people. And this is an admittedly simplistic example of how rich of a role that symbols play.

Let’s talk about logos – arguably the most prevalent type of symbol that exists on this planet.

Every time you see the “golden arches” of a certain fast-food chain, what is invoked in you? Surely, much more than just the name of the business. And here, even the phrase “golden arches” acts as a totally valid stand-in for the symbol itself, effectively “loading” the symbol into your mind’s eye along with all its synaptic connections in your psyche. Through advertising, a company ties concepts, beliefs and even emotions to their logo.

Every advertisement you have seen about any business is 100% registered in your subconscious. That awkwardly over-intimate car commercial? That 15 second video ad on YouTube that made you LOL? These always (mostly) prominently include the business’s logo. This is because a logo is like a living voice that can communicate basically whatever the advertisers want it to.

This isn’t to say that business is evil and we are helpless victims and slaves to marketing, but to explore the question: Is the real estate of our subconscious mind being filled up with humongous and ever-sprawling storage units of all the sense impressions we’ve ever had from marketing and advertising? If so, then our subconscious is like a planet, and these storage units are like entire countries hell-bent on globalization – competing with and absorbing into each other by turns. <Watch out now! When you use “like” or “as” it’s a simile, not a metaphor 😉>

Even now, most companies in the world are just subsidiaries of relatively few mega-corporations: See this article from 2011 – I wonder, is this more true or less true now, six years later? Hmm!

But rest assured: We’re done with this particular side-tour of symbolism. Beyond here lies Wildspeculationland and Infuriatingconspiracyburg – two places I’m really not interested in visiting for any purpose.

The goal here is to illustrate the power of symbols in our lives.

Of course there are plenty of symbols that exist for pure intent, such as the widely unknown yet totally visionary Banner of Peace symbol, and many others. But, I think that just about all of the symbols in the world – at least the ones that the majority of us are familiar with – are embedded in (and maybe even embed us in) an outdated world-view.

What we need now are symbols that affirm something that we are all coming to know: We are all One Human Family (Thanks Key West, Florida!). The moment we saw the image of the whole Earth in 1969 – the human race was shown that we really are all on the same boat (no matter its shape). This image of Earth from space sparked the Whole Earth Movement, Earth Day and more.

The 13 Moon Calendar introduces a language of symbols which affirms and strengthens the sensibility that we are all parts of one interconnected whole.

With the 13 Moon Calendar every day has a galactic signature, which comes with its own symbols. That means your date of birth has a galactic signature, which becomes your galactic signature. By identifying with our galactic signature we can expand or liberate our identity beyond our conditioned circumstances.

What does this mean? Hopefully that we can feel greater kinship with more people. As a Red Rhythmic Dragon I share a kinship with every other Red Dragon in the world – and there are surely way more Red Dragons on Earth than the entire population of the country I happen to have been born in. What’s more is that all the galactic signatures are equal, and have unique relationships to each other – they are all kindred to each other.

The symbols in the 13 Moon Calendar are unifying, imagination stimulating, cyclically consistent and universal. Any person from any culture can learn these symbols and share a common experience with someone from a totally different culture who is also learning the language of the 13 Moon Calendar. And since these symbols aren’t the property of a corporation, it is the people themselves who create and share their meaning (beyond the few simple code words or phrases that each 13 Moon Calendar symbol is assigned).

People are one thing that all cultures have in common. And the new symbols contained in the 13 Moon Calendar are codes for creating a bridge that can connect all cultures.

13 Moons for kids! 😻

May 24, 2017 by jacob

Hey there!

I know this newsletter has been mostly crazy ramblings so far… so I want to talk about something a little closer to home, because (1) you may like to hear something more personal and practical for once and (2) for my own sanity.

I have a three-and-a-half-year-old son. We’ve been showing him the 13 Moon Calendar since he was a little baby. We started teaching him numbers by showing him dot-bar notation. Each day he now can identify which of the 20 solar seals it is, and on Magnetic tone days (like today!) he often helps me put our wavespell magnets on the fridge.

His Mommy and I have a system for taking turns with some daily activities by using the colors of the seals. On red and blue days it’s Mommy’s turn. On yellow and white days, it’s Papa’s. Maybe child-rearing books talk about this kind of thing, where something neutral and outside of yourself determines the tasks to be done… I can attest that this can help prevent (SOME) power-struggles! 😃 (If you think you’re going to completely avoid power struggles with your child, you’re crazy! Or some kind of superhuman(?) in which case I would like to subscribe to YOUR newsletter!).

For him it’s a normal part of the daily routine, like brushing teeth! Now that he’s coming into a deeper self-expression we can start playing into the codes for each day! I’m looking forward to this!

I know parents like to brag about how amazing their children are,… and I’m no exception! I was super impressed at how easily he learned and remembered all those solar seals so young, and that he could recognize dot-bar numbers at such an early age. And, I feel great about that! Not because I want him to use the 13 Moon Calendar and be all super into it (like me), but I’m glad to be able to give him something unique and different to relate to, that also challenges his intellect and stimulates his imagination. Also:

The ease with which my kid is learning it, affirmed to me that children are far more brilliant and capable than they are usually given credit for. It’s no wonder if they act out sometimes – they get bored and need something to expand their horizons!

We’re experimenting with it, but we don’t push it on him. Personally, I’m just curious what he will take from it, what he will see in it, and what will interest him about it. Plus, I love that we got a jump on teaching him to interact with a different perspective of Time before anyone has had an opportunity to teach him the insane 12-month calendar and unforgiving mechanical clock! …Well, we do have “bed time” and things like that, but our schedule isn’t so insanely overbooked that we don’t have plenty of opportunities for timeless play.

I also want to share a story about my wife. She and her friends in Venezuela volunteered to teach the 13 Moon Calendar to some troubled children in their city. They went to the school and taught the kids about natural time, how nature’s cycles are harmonic and balanced. They also taught them about the Banner of Peace and the concept of peace through culture. After their visits, the teachers reported that the kids behaved much more peacefully and cooperatively.

We’re not child psychologists, but my “silly-wild-ass-guess” (to borrow a phrase from my Dad) is it’s because the children felt empowered by the 13 Moon Calendar. For instance, if they knew it was their galactic signature day, they would be in charge of certain tasks at school. Instead of fighting against doing these tasks, they were happy to do it, maybe because it felt empowering to them – or maybe it came as a fun surprise, or something to look forward to!

How else should I try playing with the 13 Moon calendar with my son? And how about you? Do you share the 13 Moon Calendar with any children in your life? Do you have any ideas about it? I’d LOVE to hear them!

Get the most out of it

SPECTRAL 10, KIN 248: YELLOW MAGNETIC STAR – I UNIFY IN ORDER TO BEAUTIFY…

The 13 Moon Calendar is a unique art form on this planet. It really doesn’t fit into any pre-existing box, but oftentimes it is compared to astrology, tarot, I Ching, or other forms of divination.

Of course, all these different systems do synchronize into the 13 Moon Calendar, but that’s because the 13 Moon Calendar is a template, and matrix of synchronicity (or unification) that any system, calendar, or cosmology can be plugged into.

But what I often see is that people will find their galactic signature (like finding out their “sign”), and that’s the end of their exploration of the 13 Moon Calendar. This is a bummer, because they’re really missing out on some magic!

Where the “rubber meets the road” is through using the 13 Moon Calendar each day. Even if it is simply seeing what the daily galactic signature is.

The 13 Moon Calendar is a vast tapestry of interrelating codes, symbols, “commands”, suggestions, colors, information, impressions, messages, relationships, pulsations, rhythms, vibrations, concepts, structures, geometries,… I better stop, because I could go on and on here. The point I am struggling to articulate may be better explained as a metaphor:

The 13 Moon Calendar, with its intrinsic infinitude of potential connections and patterns is much like a brain, with its myriad synaptic connecting points.

OK… let’s see if we can bring this down to Earth a bit… Do you remember those red decoder glasses from when you were a kid? There’d be a message inside a kind of red blizzard but when you put on those glasses you could see the message hiding in there. The 13 Moon Calendar is kind of like that, but instead of revealing one specific message it reveals a message specifically for YOU, but that is simultaneously universal. Stay with me here:

The universe is one interconnected whole. Frequency/vibration underlies the entire thing. The 13 Moon Calendar helps us perceive a self-existing, coherent structure within all that vibration. To re-use another metaphor: This is liking tuning your internal radio tuner to a super-galactic radio station, with DJ One-Verse spinning all your favorite tunes!

If you just find your galactic signature and stop there, it’s like you called into the radio station and said, “Hi DJ One-Verse! I’m Joe!” – END OF TRANSMISSION. But DJ One-Verse doesn’t stop: No, this DJ is broadcasting an entire universe of synchronicity.

We’re going to need yet another metahpor. (I know, I know, I’m sorry for all the metaphors, but I’m trying to explain something really subtle and unique here – like if I was trying to tell you what a plum tastes like!).

Finding out your galactic signature and stopping there is like if you open a book to the first page and look at ONLY the first word on the first page, and then throw the book away.

The 13 Moon Calendar is meant for daily use so that you can read that first sentence, then the first paragraph, then the first page – and you start to see where the plot is going. The amazing part, is this book is like a “choose your adventure” style book, where the degree to which you interact with it determines the outcome, and determines what you’ll get out of it!

Synchronicity FEELS good

April 28, 2017 by jacob

Why bother changing your calendar? Let’s talk about that some more!

I’m sure you have experienced the magic, electrically charged feeling whenever you think of your friend and they call you at that moment. Or you have a burning question in your mind only to find it answered on a (seemingly) random page of a (seemingly) random book.

Or how about when you have a dream about something, and then it happens? Woah! Now we’re gettin’ out there!

Have you experienced any of these things? Can you remember how it FELT?

It felt good. Really, really good, right?!

That feeling is synchronicity. But why is it so fleeting???

From the perspective of the Law of Time, the whole universe (including all multiverses) is constantly in a state of perfect synchronicity. Just think about how the millions upon millions of different lifeforms upon one tiny speck of a planet, Earth, all manage to stay relatively in balance. It’s like a system of checks and balances where no one species completely dominates, and more than that: The resulting whole system is stunningly elegant. Here’s why:

Synchronicity is the universal norm.

So, how come synchronicity seems so weird and elusive to us human people? The reason is simple: Synchronicity happens IN TIME, and our sense of Time is dictated by an arbitrary machine (tick-tock-clock), and an equally arbitrary (AND irrational) yard-stick (our calendar). Since these form the unquestioned foundation of our understanding of Time, our experience of it is stunted.

When we have those synchronicity flashes and get that amazing feeling inside, we are getting a glimpse of the underlying, natural state of the universe. Like “accidentally” tuning into a radio station that is all good music all the time, we catch a feeling or frequency that in reality saturates the universe – except in our time-stunted minds (assuming that we are the only global civilization to adhere to mechanical clocks and an irrational calendar!). But, even so, we do get our own little flashes of synchronicity from time to time.

Here’s an example I realized recently when I was at the movies: Watching a good movie with a crowd of other people creates a type of collective synchronicity. Unless, for some reason, you’ve gone to a movie that you hate. But for the sake of this train of thought, let’s assume we’re talking about a good movie, that you and everybody else is enjoying.

As the plot unfolds, tensions rising and falling, the captive audience and their mental, emotional (and maybe even metabolic systems!) come into synchronization and everything is felt a little deeper. This is why it is often more fun to watch movies in the theater, or with a group, than just by yourself – because everybody gets a shared experience. We are synchronizing, and it is fun! (The same could be said about live music events, a topic for which I have many, many thoughts…)

But this is nothing new. Virtually every human culture has shared in an experience like this through their rituals, ceremonies and celebrations. Of course, these kinds of cultural “art wholes” were created and refined over the span of generations and were probably more intimately woven into the fabric of the society and its unique mythic narrative of their place in the cosmos.

The 13 Moon Calendar creates the basis for an ever-transforming mythic narrative that any person from any culture can experience. Each day is located within a subset of cycles and has a signature or code with archetypal key words and concepts. The magic, to me, is that each of these key words or archetypes can have a different meaning to each person. So what you end up with is a collective of people around the planet synchronizing to a moving pattern of archetypes and with their own unique perspective and understanding of it.

The patterns (cycles) of the codes (archetypes) in the 13 Moon Calendar create the foundation for synchronicity, and the unique perspective that each person has of those codes is what taps into that super-good SYNCHRONICITY FEELING. Everybody is synchronizing to a rhythm, movement and underlying narrative that calls forth something unique to each person – but which nevertheless cultivates their collective sense of synchronicity.

Wow… is this getting far out or what?

What’s so amazing is that something as simple as daily use of the 13 Moon Calendar is like firing up the ignition on a whole new sense organ that can perceive that whole-body good feeling that is Synchronicity.

Change the calendar? What’s the point?

April 12, 2017 by jacob

So…. Why bother changing your calendar?

The very idea sounds silly, believe me, I know. I’ve been talking to people about it for years. The most common response is some version of “Why?” or “What will that accomplish?”

Of course when I first began talking to friends and family about the 13 Moon Calendar, it was discouraging to hear this. Not because I just WANTED them to use the 13 Moon Calendar. It was because I had fun(!) and unique experiences as a result of using it, and I wanted to share that with them.

Back in 2002 when I was first learning about the 13 Moon Calendar, the “Why” question didn’t really have a chance to get in my way. This was because I was the only person I knew who had even heard of it, so all the discussion and questioning happened in my own mind.

See, I voraciously read up on the 13 Moon Calendar as soon as I heard of it. In that self-study, I am sure at some point I wondered “why?” but to me the more interesting question was “what?” – as in: “What can we DO with this?” In fact, even now, after 15 years of 13 Mooning, I still explore that question. In any case, my “why” was satisfied as part of my own studies, and since I wasn’t as interested in the “why” as I was with the “what”, I didn’t even take note of what satisfied MY “why?”.

So, whenever someone would ask me the very important question “Why?” my response was usually WAY more complex than necessary. But, now I know better – and the answer is simple:

Your understanding of Time directly affects your experience of it. This is because, as Jose Arguelles said it best: Time is the atmosphere of the mind.

For example, if you think Time is nothing more or less than What-A-Clock-Measures, then that’s how you’ll experience it.

Probably the first thing you ever “learned” about Time, was how to read a clock. But, before that you surely had already experienced Time moving faster or slower, or twisty or turny, or even backwards or upside-down. You probably even had déjà vu experiences before you were taught about the clock.

The tragedy is that the first time any well-intentioned guidance was given to you about Time, a most fundamental aspect of your reality, it was only to teach you something as boring as how to be punctual.

And yeah, using a clock is necessary and practical (for now…). But, if it’s the only tool we’re given, our baseline understanding of Time is that it is just tick-tocking away, forever. As if a machine humans invented could really CREATE AND DEFINE a fundamental property of the universe. (Which touches on an even deeper topic… maybe I’ll try to unpack that later!).

But here’s the punchline: The clock was first invented as a mechanical toy, not as the engine to run human civilization, nor, indeed, the human mind!

You can re-think Time. You can “upgrade” your relationship to it.

OK: You were taught the clock. Then maybe in Physics class you were given the dusty old “arrow of time”. But most likely nobody ever acknowledged or explored the fact that you sometimes experience days going faster or slower, or that you ever feel like you had “been here before”. Generally speaking, no consideration is given to the actual, direct experience of Time. But you can give yourself that chance, if you’re so inclined.

By changing your calendar, you throw a figurative wrench into the literal gears of mechanical time – giving your mind the chance to not only entertain the notion that there is more going on here than Time just ticking away, but to interact with Time in a more meaningful way.

As foreign as it may first appear at first glance, the 13 Moon Calendar simply provides a means for re-thinking Time on your own terms, based on your own direct experience.

If you don’t yet have a 13 Moon Calendar, here you go! Begin your own experiment to enrich your relationship to Time.
